yes, you can use a smartphone with an external lens attachment , suggest to use only with a phone

If holding gimbal upper part with hand, the lower main portion is rotating indefinitely to and forth. This is correct one or any faculty device

Since the IZI GO-X is 3 axis gimbal and holds the same as the upper part it comes under incorrect handling. Because while powering on if we hold the upper part it can move from the bottom to left & right axis, it's not at all fault it's the gimbal mechanism.
