great kit, has everything you need to make the plush and is useful for other projects beyond that. the instructions are very helpful, both in the booklet and in the qr-code-linked videos. i am completely new to crochet and was able to pick it up and make this project thanks to this kit. i definitely recommend it if you're starting out, but having extra yarn beyond what's included in the kit (the kit includes some plain white yarn to practice on) might help before tackling the project.

I purchased this for my 8 year old granddaughter who is just learning to crochet. She was doing a doll blanket but there is not that much fun in that. So I got this, and another more advanced kit for her older sister. The instructions on this are clear enough an 8 year old can read/follow them. The item is made up of good quality materials and is so cute she could not wait to do it. This will help set those hand eye coordination skills for a new crocheter and hopefully lead them to a love of a craft that can serve them well throughout their life. Fun, bright colors, and specifically geared to a youngsters beginning skills. Would purchase again and again.

This kit was only the second one that I’ve completed. I made the blue one first and then the pink. I don’t think the videos were as good as the Woobles ones but I was able to rewatch them very easily. The yarn does split which makes it difficult to work with. I luckily got the hang of it with the pink octopus. I do like the price point and that it came with all the materials, videos, AND a pattern booklet (and the booklet with stitches) so I can make them again. I have 2 other kits to complete from this company but I would consider buying these again since I am no longer a “beginner.” I would not recommend if you are completely new to crocheting. Find something else.

The instructions were tough to follow, the link to their YouTube instructional video was a bit better to grasp. But even after 45 mins, I still couldn’t get my first few starting knitting stitches to look anything like the woman in the video. If you get this, I suggest looking up a different tutorial video; or ask a friend for help. I was so annoyed with how many times I tried and FAILED, that I gave it to my neighbor. She said she liked it. The design and color plus all the pieces were put together in the box very nicely; I just couldn’t follow the instructions.

fantastic beginner kit. All the things you need to make at least 2 of the little octopus. It comes with instructions and a QR code for the follow along videos. I enjoyed making my first Amigurumi doll, I was never able to follow a pattern but this kit made it pretty easy for me to follow. Great value for the money, I ordered a second one.

Additionally, the kit does not include enough yarn to complete the projects as described. I ran out of yarn halfway through my first project and had to purchase additional supplies separately. This was both inconvenient and disappointing, as I expected the kit to include everything needed to complete the included projects. Overall, the Crochetta Crochet Kit for Beginners is a letdown. The low-quality materials, poorly executed video instructions, unclear patterns, and insufficient supplies make it a frustrating experience for anyone trying to learn amigurumi crocheting. I regret purchasing this kit and would not recommend it to others. Look for a more comprehensive and higher-quality crochet kit to ensure a better learning experience.

Didn’t include the patterns or the basic crochet manual. The step by step videos are a pain to watch. Can’t seem to request the items in soft copy anywhere. Wish there was a way to get them. Would rather not return.
