W901 Pro Portable Carplay & Android Auto with Dula Bluetooth, 9 inch 1080P Touch Screen, Mirror Link/GPS/Siri/FM, Support Truck Dashboard Mounted

Surprisingly works well for bluetooth connectivity. The CRV I installed it in usually has trouble with any bluetooth connection, but this screen connects reliably every time. It functions as desired. The suction cup mount shakes a lot so I used the solid mount. Instructions may require some common sense to understand. Seems like they were translated from some other language into English so terminology does not exactly speak transparently. Image is good. Reverse camera function works well with the separate camera I purchased.

Pros: comparably cheaper, large screen, compatible with multiple methods of connection, support carplay and android auto Cons: screen resolution is way below the same price you can get than the average $200 tablet, I don't know if this is the norm but at least I'm not satisfied with this. The polarization of the screen was 90 degrees off so even if you have the anti-glare film on, it is still pitch black if you look at the screen horizontal-wise, I think they used a really low-quality tablet screen that is not designed for car use. But I mean based on the price I can't complain much. bluetooth connection to the device is perfect, FM connection is also pretty high quality. But Bluetooth relay to the car is really a hassle, it connects and disconnect every once in a while. Again, this I think is because they chose a not-so-good Bluetooth chip or the program is not robust enough, I used aux to bypass this issue, another $10 for the walkaround. So all in all, it is a device that is cheap enough for the budget-sensitive mission but if you have the extra money to spend I think it is worth the time to do more research and skip this one

Bought this CarPlay for my golf cart and it’s dual Bluetooth capabilities. Have a Bluetooth speaker & Bluetooth my music from my phone. Initially, the 12 volt cigarette lighter power source malfunctioned, but customer service was outstanding. They promptly sent a replacement and it has worked well ever since receiving the new power cord.

iPhone connected. Easy setup. Then started the problems. Tried to turn off BT on phone. It won’t turn off. Changed Discoverable under Bluetooth on Carpuride to off. Still phone with Bluetooth on started asking me to pair with Carpuride. It is not listed under Bluetooth device list on iPhone. Looks like Carpuride taking over the control of the iPhone. Not going to use this app it’s my regular iPhone. Will try to use with an old phone. Also noticed after receiving the product I found the same one for $40 less from another seller on Amazon!

Bought this model because...large screen, several mounting options, supports rear camera, CarPlay, and a WIDE temperature range (I live in Florida, and my last back up monitor/camera burned out). I had local stereo companies quote between $1K to $2K for a quality system, so this was a great price for a mid-range unit. A few things could be better... The FM audio output does not turn on immediately so I have to listen to a few seconds of noise. Other car bluetooth to FM devices immediately transmit silence. Carpuride: Can you fix this in a software release? The automatically dimming feature does not work well with street lights. The brightness cycles a little up and down at night. A little annoying. Carpuride: Can you fix this in a software release? Average the photo sensor readings.

I just got a new used 2016 Subaru Forester, which I love, and was going to install a replacement radio (did it before on other cars) but youtube videos showed that it involved too much teardown of the dashboard. So I did an internet search and in Car & Driver’s review of the top 5 CarPlay devices this one came up as #1. I was surprised because it’s an external unit and I was skeptical. But I bought it and it works great…after some tweaking, a software update, and some tech support. But the tech support was AMAZING - responses came within a day and they worked. So now I can listen to music, podcasts, text, and make phone calls. You may need to make contact with the folks at Carpuride to get the software update but once you do you’ll be able to connect with both the smartphone and the car’s Bluetooth and it works pretty seamlessly. I am very happy with this product and it looks great. An excellent solution without pulling everything apart or spending $1000 to have it done by a car stereo shop. I don’t like the power cable being as visible as it is but that’s a small price to pay for a bright 9” screen and excellent connectivity.

Perfect for what I needed in my car. I didn't want to have to take apart my dash to install a touch screen device. This stays put with the suction cup it comes with. The microphone could defintely use some work though. People have a hard time hearing me when I am on the phone with them. The music definitely sounds better using the controls on the W901. Screen is big and bright enough to see and can be adjusted. Overall - great product.

Hope this review helps those who are purchasing Carpuride products. When first initial setup, my Iphone 13 had no difficulty connecting to W901Pro. However, the unit will not connect to my Infiniti BT. Playing music or making/answering a phone call, I had to switch back to my handheld device (phone). Only way to play music with my car stereo is via FM transmitter (horrible with hissing background noise) or an Aux (which my car does not have). Siri doesn't work either. After communicating with Carpuride team with my problems, 2 days later, they had sent me the latest firmware update and that fixes all the issues. I must say Carpuride support is A1. With the update, all voice/music transmissions are now redirected back to the handheld and from handheld via BT to car.

Un producto que esperaba mucho en tecnología y la final, no cumplió con lo que esperaba muy complicado a la hora de configurar el doble Bluetooth no se vinculaba , y en mi dispositivo se reinicia no fue lo que esperaba, y la pantalla tenía un retraso en el touch

Me gusto mucho por que con el Bluetooth que tiene el equipo el sonido es más claro y funciona 👍 sin clable auxiliar y también no tuve que eliminar el equipo original.

I have always been interested in using Apple CarPlay and after going on a road trip without it I thought now is a good time to get one (for the next trips). Installing/Plugging in is easy, we are using the arm bracket above the radio on dash and have it overlapping the OEM Stereo. Setting up the FM Transmitter is easy to get the audio flowing! We wanted to leave the screen protector/plastic on to prevent scratches but the touch screen is much better when you peel it off! For some reason when using the AUX Out it has a very noticeable buzz which is not present once you unplug it from the W901 Pro (so it's not my cable). Will be trying with the included one though. **EDIT** INCLUDED AUX CABLE WORKS GREAT! One thing I wish with a system of this cost would be an OLED Screen (night driving would be AMAZING with that), overall the screen dims enough to make it OK for night highway driving (Just turn off auto brightness as the Manual suggests as it is sensitive to Headlights and Streetlights). :) ---OVERALL THOUGHTS-- I definitely do not regret buying this unit and plan to use it for years to come and will recommend to others to check out! Thinking I might add on the Rear Cam as well.

looks good and well made But a bunch of minor flaws: 1) the map does not switch to night mode, even when you set the night mode constantly, the next time you connect, the day mode is automatically selected. 2) Android phone does not show the time on the main screen; 3) sometimes the Spotify application pauses the music, when you press the play button, the pause is set after a few seconds (the issue is resolved by reconnecting the phone); 3) a lot of minor glitches. All this is of course bearable, but this can be forgiven for devices from AliExpress for $ 100.
