Is it fire retardent to resistent, or would it burn, e.g. if an open flame touches it?

I think its just good for wrapping duct. Not fire resistant.

If attaching this insulation to 16'x21" horizontal garage door panels w/o aluminum tape, what adhesive works best?

Have not tried this but have had great success using 3 M spray adhesive on both surfaces.
