Good addition to my 2009 Suzuki Swift. Bluetooth calls work seamlessly with voice clear on both ends (mic mounted behind steering wheel) Calls are easy to answer / hang up with the included push button (I've secured this in easy reach onto the centre console with some velcro). It's a much better solution than the previous kerfuffle of: finding ringing phone / swipe to answer / engage speakerphone / rest on lap / mute car stereo that I had (somewhat) gotten used to before. The unit will automatically mute any other music playing through it when a call comes in whether it's streaming via BT or from the SD / USB on the unit itself. Pairing is easy as, just hold down the button used to answer calls for three seconds and make sure your phone is discoverable. Unit automatically connects with a previously paired phone about 5 seconds after it's powered on and emits a short beep to let you know you're good to go. Bluetooth A2DP functionality works well too, letting me stream music from my phone directly to the stereo. This is one the main reasons I purchased this device, although I was hoping that the steering wheel controls would allow me to skip tracks via bluetooth and alas that is not the case (I researched this point for a fair while before buying but was unable to find a definitive answer) Steering controls still work for mute / volume just not skipping tracks. Music loaded onto a 16gb SD card also works well plugged directly into the unit, if naming conventions are adhered to. The device remembers where you where when you switched off the power and starts again on power up which is a nice touch. The steering controls do work for this method but track information doesn't display on the stereo other than number / folder number. Audio output from the device is excellent via bluetooth and SD / USB. Switching to FM radio the volume is about the same without touching the volume settings on the car stereo. If I have the audio on my phone set to more than 20/30 when connected via BT it's actually even louder than FM radio on equivalent setting. I used to have an FM transmitter which required me to crank the volume on the stereo, with bad quality audio and risk of damaging speakers as well as constant problems with interference and a problematic cable that connected the device to my phone. It's also nice clean aesthetic, I have my phone in my pocket or attached to a small mount on the centre console with no cables attached (unless I want to charge from a USB socket that's plugged into the cigarette lighter) Overall I'm generally happy with this device as a working, if not quite perfect solution as it adds most of the functionality I wanted at a much cheaper price than buying a whole new head unit.

A cheap and cheerful alternative to spending £100s. Music is perfect, however you can't skip tracks with your own speak system, you have to use your phone. Bluetooth sound quality when making phone calls is not to best for the person on the other line.

This device is very expensive for what it is. If the next/prev. track buttons worked it would've been worth it. I can't fault the sound quality, and it was quite easy to install (just had to remove the glovebox and plug in a wire). Car: 2010 Suzuki Swift GL
