Teeny tiny but powerful
I just got this today. I have a 16 gal coralife and I only needed more water flow to get the gunk off the live rock and help circulate the waste off the sand. In a matter of a couple hours, this has helped a lot. In fact, I'll probably have to clean the sponge and filters tomorrow. It's very quiet and I wouldn't even know it's on if I couldn't see the flow of the remaining gunk. I have it on the lowest pulse setting right now and my fish are getting their exercise. Doesn't seem to bother my shrimp and the corals are open. I would say this is worth the price right now. I got insurance on it...just in case. I would definitely recommend at this point.

good for 5 to 10 gallons only. Very very weak flow ; Too expensive for the technology and small product.

Brilliant design but seems a little pricey. That would have to be the only thing I don't like about it. Every thing else is nice. With understandable directions. Also the extra wire clamps, and velcro are a added bonus for routing the cord to be unnoticeable. The components seem like decent quality. Inert ceramic shaft. With a good design for cooling the motor too that is a good feature. Less likely to have stuck impellers. Also as it is dc current that makes this pump versatile and adjustable to your needs. The way this pump model operates, and its size is perfect for small tanks. As well as there being space for a small heater. With the wave setting you will be less likely to need extra wavemakers. Could run filtration, and waves with just the one setting. I would just avoid doing that if using carbon. It fits perfectly in the back of this 6 gallon tank. One could probably use this on up to maybe 15 to 20 gallon nano tanks this way. However, might need extra pumps depending on what your doing. Check out small clip attached. Could also use this in a scenario where someone is using buckets for water changes.
