Very comfy all round seat, best seat I've used
Seats are personal preference but hands down this is the best seat for me out of the dozens ive tried. Comfort 5/5 - I went on abit of a journey to find a seat right for me and this was the winner after trying a number of seats at this price point. It's comfy for onroad and off-road, short or long journeys. Durability 4/5 - I bought the non gel version about 2 years ago and they last well. The front end has lost shape a little from storage but doesn't performance. Design 5/5 - very lightweight, looks good, perfect amount of padding and fit for purpose

Comfortable
I am a casual cyclist, rather than an enthusiast or sportsman, so despite having bought myself a nice new gravel bike, I just want to be able to use it wearing my everyday clothes. I'm sure padded cycle shorts are the best solution for the die-hards amongst us, but if like me you just want to pop to the shops, or do a circuit of the park or local area, you don't want to have to dress like you're joining the Tour de France. I therefore want a saddle fitted with adequate padding to do the work instead, and this Selle seems to do the trick. It's early days yet, but initial ride-outs have been comfortable in jeans or nomal shorts and no tell-tale soreness around the inner saddle area afterwards. I also have a bad back, so wanted to eliminate all pressure on the base of the spine, which this saddle seems to do with its large cutout down the middle. It was easy to fit to the bike. It is not the lightest (definitely a little heavier than the supplied one I took off) but again, unless 200g extra is going to ruin your road race, it's a negligable difference.

Your Gooch Will Thank You
I ride a Boardman Hybrid which I love, but the saddle which came with the bike leaves a lot to be desired in the cushioning department, and a ride on any surface rougher than your standard road usually has me walking like I’ve got a bad case of the Duke of Argyles for a couple of days afterwards. After crushing my nads on yet another pothole I decided to invest in a new saddle, and after a bit of research I found myself purchasing the Selle SMP Trk. I did my first test ride this morning (12 miles) and the difference is remarkable; I live in Midlothian and often cycle along the A766 (which I affectionately refer to as The Nutcracker, given the surface clearly hasn’t been treated since around 1896), and the bumps were so comfortably absorbed by the gel padding that I shaved a good whack off my normal time along that stretch of road. It was such a relief not having to worry about my testes ending up as a couple of hairy pancakes yet again that I could pedal with gay abandon, and leaning back into the saddle is also very comfortable on the hip bones too. Being a Selle it looks great; the upholstery is top notch and looks great against the silver frame. I have a long jaunt coming up, a good portion of which is along fairly poor road surfaces, and I’ve been dreading it largely due to the pain I was expecting to experience. Now I can’t wait to get going. Seriously - me and my perineum cannot recommend this saddle highly enough!

A little soft
I needed a wider saddle with a slim standard front with split. Fits bill for this. Gel is a little soft but coupled with a suspension seat post this works well.

Tolerable
I've been through 7 or 8 different saddles for my spin bike, all of them from major brands in different widths, lengths and shapes of cutout. All induced different levels of numbness and pain over increasingly shorter periods, even when used with expensive cycling shorts. Not having a cycle store locally I tried several methods for measuring 'sitbones' before deciding to use the size guide on the SMP website. After a couple of attempts at getting the saddle level and in the right fore/aft position I can now finally ride for around 30 minutes before I have to stand and for the remaining 60 minutes of my session I only need to stand every 10km or so. I'm not sure that the gel element really adds to the comfort of the saddle, or justifies the extra £20 over the standard large TRK, and I still experience some pain after the session, but thankfully no numbness in the perineum which is a real relief.

Purchased for mtb on turbo trainer
Very comfortable saddle which I put on my 2007 Specialised MTB Hardrock Sport. I'm using it with a Continental road tyre on the turbo trainer stand from Aldi. The stand gets quite noisy at speeds over 30 km/hr but the saddle is very comfortable. I typically ride up to 40 mins 5-6x per week. Tried other models including the Fizik Aliante R3 Open Bike Saddle (plastic trim on the sides bothered me and the hole in the middle was not big enough) and Selle Italia SLR Flow Saddle (too hard, didn't even install it). I purchased the large version of the TRK as my bum bones are 14cm wide (measured sitting on some cardboard). The gel is squishy but not exaggerated. The saddle is wide but not like those ugly city bike models. The hole in the middle means nothing important is getting squished. The way the saddle front end tilts down means it doesn't get in the way when I try to speed up. Haven't tried going outside as it's too cold now but imagine it would be nice on road or gravel. The packaging says it's emtb ready.

Great saddle from a great seller!
Great saddle, looks a little odd but for good reason, the rear of the seat is so comfortable, the cutout eliminates pressure from the centre and the nose stops unwanted hangups on your shorts! Highly recommended seller, issue with size on first order but contacted me within minutes and a new saddle arrived within days! Unbelievable service especially in these times. Thanks again for your help.
