Very nice product that does what is says it will do. I wish the refill liquid were more reasonably priced!

Very simple and convenient to use because you don’t have to measure out the cleaning solution with water. The downside to me is that the cleaning gun is a bit expensive. In my case, the condenser hadn’t been cleaned in 16 years so if I had used aerosol spray cleaner and garden hose alone, the cost of the number spray cans needed would have exceeded what I paid to clean the condenser.

I purchased a new HVAC system a couple years ago and didn’t think about servicing the unit because of its age. However, I researched that the unit should be serviced annually. So after further researching I found that the coils on the condenser can easy be damaged if done incorrectly. I came across this product. Many professionals use this so it makes sense to use it myself. Prior to applying the chemicals, I did as instructed and washed as much as possible the dirt away so the chemicals can breakdown all the buildup in the coils. I failed to get the sprayer in action as I was focusing on getting this done correctly using the chemicals to clean the coils. I do like the foaming action this sprayer uses and I don’t need to worry about mixing with water as it does this using the proper setting on the sprayer. After use, I thoroughly washed the sprayer from any left over chemicals so it can be used next time. For me it was all about proper cleaning and reusing the sprayer rather than purchasing coil cleaning spray cans. I feel with this method I would get better results. I am happy with how the condenser was cleaned and looking at the muddy dirt on the ground, I think it was worth the investment.

I was recently made aware of the benefits of cleaning my central A/C's condenser fins. While they were not covered by or impacted with excessive dirt as seen on multiple YouTube videos, I wanted to effectively clean them for increased efficiency and longevity. This gun was easy to assemble and use, as it has a quick connect pistol and allows for use of concentrated liquid cleaner without prior dilution. Consequently, you can use its pistol to rinse off the cleaner and dirt from the fins, and you can pour unused cleaner back into its original bottle, making for no waste. As I will be doing this maintenance yearly on two outside units, its high price is tempered by contrasting it with the cost of an HVAC technician performing the same work, and by factoring in decreased electricity use. While I used Nu-Calgon's Nu-Brite liquid cleaner with superb results, any brand of liquid cleaner be used, and this gun can execute multiple rates of dilution. Overall, a great product for important HVAC maintenance.

If you do condenser coil cleaning very often this is a really convenient and effective tool and well worth buying. If you are like me- a homeowner who only does an annual cleaning, I think you don't need it. I like that you can put the full strength cleaner in the bottle and select a dilution ratio, I like that the foaming tip encourages the foaming action, and I like that the quick disconnect lets you switch from spraying cleaner to spraying water quickly and easily. It works well and I have no problems with it. But . . it costs between 50 and 100 dollars, it is one more thing to own and store, and you can get the job done with a pump-up garden sprayer by diluting the cleaner (I used Nu Calgon Nu Brite) in the tank. I tried this with foaming car wash liquid to see if it could also do service in cleaning the car, it did okay but nothing like the foam cannons that attach to pressure washers. In hindsight I think this is something I didn't need to buy.

Expensive, but worth it. no more bug sprayers with mixing & spillage of caustic base and no more inhaling the mist
