The product worked as expected. The glass compound cleaned the windshield effectively, and the Ultra Glaco applied smoothly and provided great water repellency. Visibility during rain noticeably improved. On recent trip driving in rain i was able to drive most of the way without using wipers. Main concern was wiper jittering/skipping which did not happen. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the results and would definitely try other products from Soft99 in the future.

Now I have something to look forward to when it rains! Watching the rain fly up the windshield & over the car roof has an entertaining appeal to it! At about 35MPH - 40MPH the rain flies up the windshield! Minimize wiper use to increase longevity (I rarely need to use my wipers unless I’m driving slow) Here are the steps I used, and at the 4 month mark it seems like I have a while to go, before I need another application. I’ll probably do an application every 6 months I’m guessing. 1) Clean windshield real well with a good car soap. Preferably a decon soap like Armour Detail Supply Decon Soap to get it CLEAN 2) Spray off soap & Dry windshield well 3) Apply compound to windshield using crosshatch pattern (don’t need to let it sit - wash off after application) 4) Spray off compound, and dry really well 5) Use a 50%Alcohol/50% distilled water mixture to spray on windshield and wipe off with lint free microfiber 6) Apply Glaco Ultra, and let it sit on there for about 10 minutes 7) Buff off with a microfiber (no water) 8) Avoid getting windshield wet for 24 hours 9) Enjoy the view during the next rain fall!

At first, I didnt think this product was any better than ra*n-x which is significantly cheaper other than maybe longevity. Seemed to perform about the same. I have this on one vehicles windshield and the other brand on two other windshields to compare it to. A few days ago, we received 5” of snow and when I cleaned the windshields, the one with this stuff cleaned off in about 10 seconds just sliding off with minimal effort. The other two windshields with the other brand took the normal amount of work as if they werent treated at all. This product is worth the price for that fact alone if you live in areas with snow.

This stuffs insanely good. Very easy to use and long lasting results. I spent maybe a half hour total for the whole process and 2 months later my windows are still super hydrophobic.

Works wonders

It works great! Water glides right off when I’m driving, so I don’t have to use my wipers at all for anything. I highly recommend this product.

This is my second time using a glass compound and let me tell you this, this one knocks the competition out of the park. I used the glass striper first to remove the remains of the old compound and then applied the compound it self. Super easy to use, I still have a bunch left after doing all my glass on my SUV. I have beading of the water starting at around 55-60 km/h. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend! Now, let’s see how long it lasts.

The oil spill smoothly

RainX still performs way better. Glass cleaner is very hard to remove when applied and is very messy. The coating applies easy, but it doesn’t do anything. You end up with a clean windshield, but no water repellent properties.
