Replacement Convection Blower (PP-KS-5020-1052)

My Pelpro 130 was shutting off due to overheating. I called the Pelpro technicians and they were a bit helpful but not the definitive root cause analysis folks. So I went with my instincts - ordered the blower, installed it promptly (took 30m), and issues gone. Wish I had done it 3 months earlier! Works great 1.5 years later.

Our blower went our right before below zero weather was predicted. Ordered this replacement and it arrived before expected delivery date. My husband was able to swap it in easily, just a couple wires to hook up. Was the same size so fit perfectly. As others mentioned there was a gasket on the replacement blower that wasn't on the original. Also, it is quieter than the original. We use our pellet stove during the day in the living room instead of running our furnace so it gets used a lot. Seems well made and should last at least as long as the original.

I would have given 5 stars,but the felt like seal ripped whe installing. Besides that took me 5 minutes, and now I don't have to hear the old fan rattling. My pellet stove has in been so quiet since the first winter I put it in.

This was a replacement blower for a PelPro pellet stove. The original motor developed problems after two years of service. One it had a bad bearing and the rotor would rub on the Stator. This caused the blower to come to a grinding halt. Also the stator made a loud humming when running. The new blower runs much better and it is much quieter. Also this blower came with a gasket, the original blower did not have a gasket. PrpPels manual shows a gasket but the stove we have did not have one. The gasket may have something to do with the blower running quieter.

Price was right. The fan/ motor was just like factory. Took less than 5 minutes to install. It was a perfect fit. Runs quieter than the original.

I received the product damaged in the box the plastic housing was cracked but I had no choice but to use it
