8-Channel Low Profile XLR Send Circuit Board Snake Cables, XLR Splitter Cable for Live, Recording, Stage, Studio, 50 Feet Long

I have owned this for about 2 weeks and I have used it for 3 shows... my primary usage is for 5 drum inputs, a vocal input, and a stereo keyboard input, along with returns for a set of iem's and a wedge. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD SNAKE! It is lightweight, but the construction is very good. The XLR inputs have push locks to keep them sturdy in their slot. The labeling is clear. The sound quality is fantastic! For the money... you can't go wrong with this at all. I will probably order another one for our front line.

Worked perfectly.... not to heavy. I used it for a remote recording job. Where I needed only 7 lines.. fit in my back pack and was just perfect for what I needed... things lock in and engage tight. Doesn't feel too cheap. Very happy with it.

This works great in my studio. I have a network stage box for my Presonus 32SC, which extends 16 of my inputs and 8 of my outputs to the stage area. I needed to extend another 8 inputs and 4 outputs to the other side of the stage area. This solved that issue without having to spend a ton of money on another network stage box. It is not a super rugged build, so you may not want to purchase this if it will be smashed around like some road gear often is. In my case, this is for a studio and will rarely, if ever, travel outside of my studio.

Works perfectly in my home studio. My Behringer UMC1820 with 8 inputs now sits on my desk all wired to the breakout box closer to the instruments. With a few DI boxes for guitar/bass recording, this saves a lot of clutter and no more having to move the interface to get to the inputs on the back lossening the outputs. I have the 10 outputs to studio monitors and 4 stereo headphone amp/splitters for full band monitoring. Playing with cords feels like a waste of time when you can just set things up once and still be flexible for different arrangements without digging behind a desk or rack for the right input. The numbered XLRs and inputs are real helpful too. Only took off a star because while this is awesome, the box with the inputs does feel a little light weight though does have corner/edge protection. I don't have any issues with it and it is mostly metal, but it doesn't feel as hefty as it maybe could. Overall good product still working flawlessly several months after purchase.

Great 100 ft. 12X4 audio snake for the money. Some other reviewers are saying that the stage box is plastic. No says I! After further examination, I have discovered that the majority of the stage box is of a metal clam-shell design, which provides better RF shielding. The only plastic parts are the end caps that hold the clam-shell halves together using eight self-tapping screws. The diameter of the snake cable is a little thicker than some other 12x4 snakes that I have used in the past. This may be due to each individual channel having its own PVC jacket for the full, 100 feet length, which is actually a benefit. I have not yet used this model on a live gig yet, but having the connectors on a printed circuit board seems to also be a superior design feature. I installed this snake on a modified garden hose reel and I am ready to roll out!

Really want to know if it's worth it ? For small venues it perfect i have a 16 chanel mixer and kill 1/2 of time of setting up good quality .....5 ☆

Works as it should, why pay a fortune when this snake does the job!

I love this product. I used it for couple of times now and its very convinent when you have many inputs to connect. Easy to track each connection and operate during the performance.

Just what I required to do the job for the drum cage.

I’ve only used this unit once, but I’m quite impressed. Appears to be good quality. Well insulated heavy cable with solid XLR ends and plugs on the box. This is a perfect unit for a sub snake to plug in a main snake for a set of drums mics on stage. That’s what I got it for. Most times I would be using it just six or seven of the channels, leaving me one or two to connect amplifier mics. All in all, the snake makes for a cleaner stage, as I don’t have to run a bunch of individual XLR cables all over the place.

This is a fantastic price for what you are getting. The cable is of high quality and the ends seem to be as well. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is the box at the end of the snake feels cheap compared to a higher end snake. This will last a long time as long in a live sound environment as you don't abuse it, but the best application would be for a permanent install where it isn't constantly being moved from gig to gig.
