Synology 2-Bay NAS DS223 (Diskless) Black

This was a replacement for an earlier product. Set-Up could not have been simpler, just changed the disks from the failed unit and followed the instructions to migrate all settings and data. "Done and Dusted". A very effective NAS for home use.

Was really easy to upgrade from my previous 10 year old NAS. Simply swap the drives over and run through the wizard 🪄. Works faster than my previous and not loss of data or configuration.

NAS drive has been up for a month now and all working well. It was much simpler to set up than my old one (different brand, many years ago).

First came with a faulty fan. Bit anoyed had to wait 15 days for refund, was good to be offered a replacement or fix. The NAS is ok, software simple and easy to use. Perfect to have pictures and videos on it. I use 2 TB WD red drives, very quiet.

I bought it to do the heavy lifting of running the Emby and Surveillance servers instead of my computer which it does very well along with backing up my computer once a week. With the surveillance suite i get all the perks of a Tapo camera subscription without the monthly/ annual cost. I was pleasantly surprised i got picture alerts to my apple watch as well. I’m very happy i bought the Synology and there are plenty of helpful videos online.

Arrived early. Easy to set up, slotted 2x6TB... Hassle free setup.... Highly recommended for reliable NAS....

Je cherchais une solution pour sauvegarder automatiquement mes photos. Mets photos maintenant sont sauvegardées directement sur mon Cloud personnel, à domicile. J'ai un site web php avec une base de données. Je ne regrette pas mon achat. C'est vrai qu'il ait fournie sans disque dur. C'est un tres bon produit fiabLe. Pour le configurer j'ai opté pour demander à l'IA.
