Minecraft English Ages 7-8

This is the third one of the minecraft series I've bought and I've got to say this English one continues to the same high standards that made me so relatively impressed with the maths ones too. The minecraft theme has been surprisingly well integrated into the book, it's NOT just some token illustrations tacked onto some dry standard text, but it's been well constructed by someone with actual understand of the minecraft universe, as the education points made are tied back in a really engaging way. Very impressed.

I bought this for my son to try as he struggles with his reading and writing and needs lots of encouragement. I didn’t really expect much as we have tried several workbooks in the past and he quickly loses interest but I thought it was worth a try as he loves Minecraft.He absolutely loves this book and has consistently completed a page a day without losing interest, he even asks to do more!The content is great and covers everything in the Year 3 curriculum from what I can see. The tasks are manageable and interesting enough to keep him engaged and he likes collecting the emeralds for each task completed.I would highly recommend for any reluctant readers/writers who need some extra motivation.

My son struggles at school, and is very reluctant to do any homework. He loves these books and will happily work on them without prompting!
