101 Questions to Ask Before You Get Engaged

My boyfriend and I did this exercise together from the 1st month we are in our relationship, as we both are mature and want to find the right partner to settle down. The book provides a wide range of questions, which require both partners to be very open and willing to embrace the discomfort of opening up just about everything. It took us 3 months to complete the whole book, and have time to go deeply in each question. As a results, we were able to quickly understand and build trust with each other, which helped us make significant progress in our relationship in such short period of time. I really strongly recommend this book for any couples looking for a serious relationship, if you are both daring, you can implement it in the early stage of your relationship.

I actually appreciated that book for its genuine common sense and down to earth vision of relationship and marriage. It's as helpful for yourself and your own development than to use it with your partner, especially when you want the relationship to evolve. And thanks to the seller that is always quick.

A really good solid book that was recommended to me by a friend. It is a Christian book (I am a Christian so this did not bother me) but there are still a lot of good questions in here that would work and help non Christians. I would definitely recommend it, gets you thinking and in my case helped me make the decision to get engaged to a wonderful woman!

I have found this book enlightening, so packed with good advice, parents should buy it and read it on behalf of their children and then give it to them as a gift when they are contemplating marriage. My only disappointment was I hadn't read it sooner, it would have helped me so much when I met my husband.

ALL VERY GOOD

I liked the profound approach to relationship. It made me realise that marriage is something much more serious than I thought or imagined so far and that I am not quite ready for it myself. This is a good book to read for someone who wants to understand whether their relationship has a strong enough bond for taking the next serious step. I found that it was quite a lot of Christian perspective involved, slightly too much for my taste and homosexuality has been described as an issue at some point?! It's surely an interesting approach with a lot of input that can indeed be used as base for getting to know your potential husband/wife much better and on a deeper level.

My sister passed me a copy of this book because she recommended it after she and her husband had asked each other the questions in it before they got engaged and then married. It's a realistic book; it doesn't tell you to walk away from a relationship just because it's not 'perfect', but it does challenge you to go in with your eyes wide open by getting you to ask all those questions we're sometimes afraid of asking.

Although the relationship I was in when I bought this book ended, I was happy to go through the questions. I realise that some of them don't even come to mind but are essential.

It helped me and my partner dissect what we want our future to hold

It has a few useful questions to ask your partner, things that are very obvious and probably you've already asked or know. Most of them are horribly worded. Being a Catholic I regret purchasing this. Don't waste your money.
