So good
I love Scottish oat biscuits aka crackers but here in the USA they can be quite pricey. This box is reasonable bordering a great deal. Walkers calls them Shortbread Oat crackers meaning they are very short which for the non-bakers means having a lot of butter or shortening in the dough. I think they are delicious, so much so that I've been eating them plain right out of the box. However, eventually, I'll have some with cheese. I think they're a terrific foil for both hard and soft, spicy and sweet cheeses. Although there are different shapes, to me they tasted the same except for the large round ones in the center of the box, which were a tiny touch sweet. They're also good with butter and honey or honey alone. I'd buy them again in an instant.

Were these crackers made from Peat Moss?
I'm sorry to write a negative review but I can't help it. These crackers? are the worst crackers I have ever tasted. They are dry to the point of falling apart. They literally taste like they were made from grass or something. In the book series The Outlander they describe what they had to eat and these crackers taste like what they described....nuts and twigs!Even the sweeter round ones are pretty tasteless.Their shortbread cookies/biscuits are very good but stay away from the crackers.

They are awesome Scottish oatcakes
Nice variety of shapes and I love that I get Scottish oatcakes and slightly sweet digestives in one package. Oatcakes by nature are bland and more of a vehicle for tasty toppings like Brie and fig jam or havarti and pepper jelly ( well now I’m hungry again). That being said, this box is a very good value and a nice mix.

Delicious but fragile
I ordered two boxes. They're great with cheese, much like coarser "oaties" but one of the two boxes arrived without a single intact biscuit inside. The other (I opened it immediately to check) had only one fractured cracker. I wouldn't give them as a gift unless I checked them first -- and I would be reluctant to give someone an opened box. As I said, they are delicious. But one of my boxes appears to have been kicked all the way from Scotland.

Not bad but didn't really care for them myself
I've never had these before and have been trying out snacks from all over the world so I thought I'd give them a go. I tried them plain, with dip and with cheese. With cheese is the way to go as they are definitely an acquired taste. No, I didn't hate them but didn't love them either. They're......different. They are much thicker than most crackers people use for cheese here in the USA. I feel whatever cheese you use with these needs to have a good solid flavor, otherwise it would get overpowered by the oat taste. They are a bit crumbly when chewing. I think if I had a stronger flavored cheese, they would be pretty good but with what I had, they were just ok.

Unexpectedly Delicious
Surprisingly tasty for oatcake biscuits. Hearty and flavorful. Walker’s isn’t the cheapest brand of baked goods out there, but neither is the product. I did encounter a damage issue from shipping, but that’s an Amazon issue, and I won’t fault Walker’s for that. I’d advise, however, that you not order anything heavy with this fragile box. Amazon shipped this with a case of canned vegetables, and unshockingly I had numerous biscuits crumbled to dust.

Poorly packaged - lots broken - not presentable
1/3 were broken 😞 minimal ‘bubble wrap’ inside the shipping box (2 boxes of crackers). 1/2 of the bubbles were deflated and the boxes were not wrapped individually. The smaller crackers were tasteless, the large rounds ones were good. Won’t order again.

Always love Walker’s ….kk
First had these in Scotland many moons ago; love the not-sweet but hearty flavors and texture… good alone, with jam, and of course with cheese or peanut or other nut butter….. Bought five boxes and going back for more….
