I'm looking at this thermometer on the Amazon.co.uk site. Does the thermometer give its reading in Farenheit or Centigrade?

On my thermometer, I can select the unit by changing a switch in the battery compartment.

Does the head need replacing? If so, where can I buy it and when do I need to replace it? If not, how do keep the head clean? Batteries? Thanks.

Hi. The head doesn't need replacing. There is a cap protecting the head and you remove it when checking the temperature. As for batteries it comes with one. Its not the regular AA batteries but you can find them in every store if need to replace.
