Good container! Little hard to push the tabs down and slightly close them to the side first but it definitely holds ALOT and is easy to use. It definitely stays locked at the top and functions as it should.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the compact size of this sharps container, but I find that it is just a bit too small for disposing of auto injector pens. You have to really maneuver the pen and jiggle the container around to get more than a couple pens inside. If you are using this for disposing of lancets for your glucose meter, then this will be perfect. If you take medication that you administer with an auto injector then you definitely want to go with a slightly larger size.

I only returned it to get their 2qt size instead. It's more appropriate for my needs. I need it for insulin syringes, individual needles, and microchip syringes. This one was too small to put 8 microchip syringes in it that I used with my litter of puppies. The design looks better than the ones of the same size I use at work. It's FSA or HSA eligible as well.

Great price and perfect for T1D insulin pump and CGM sharps. Easy to toss sharps. Locks easily, but I am not advising these are safest for children and pets so I advise placing in safe areas, since these sharps containers are accommodating for more than lancets and pen needles (openings are generous- potential safety issue for supra).

I started taking Zepbound injections and needed a safe place to dispose syringes. this is the perfect size and opens at the top.
