Total waste of money. Does not work. Threw it away and saved the batteries. Cost more in gas to return it. Do not buy this item

No instructions, only works on hooks with no eye. Not secure at all. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

1st look inward and open the holder, there is a little plastic tongue that the eye of the hook must push down. When you insert the hook the eye has to push (in my case Red) that plastic piece in! It took a zoomed in on the video to see exactly what was being done. I fed the line in the slot, then into the line holder, the put in the hook pushing down the plastic tongue, wrapped 1 loop of leader, spun it 6 times, slid the bottom line up, pulled tight. 3 attempts before I figured it out. Now not a problem! Yes frustrating at first. I hope this helps!

One hand fisherman, to many hookups

If it wasn't for you tube I would have sent this back this item back - the instructions only came in Chinese not one piece was in English. This is not to smart not to include instructions in English being it is being shipped to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. How about pulling your head out and include instructions in the proper language as to where it is being shipped !!! =========================================================================================================== ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK - I wound a couple fish hooks, the next day I tried to do a couple more but the batteries where DEAD. I installed new batteries again and wound a couple more hooks. THREE hours later the batteries where DEAD again, so I will return in the morning and will order a new Automatic Fishing Hook Winder. This time I hope the instructions are in ENGLISH and not CHINESE, also the storage pouch was not in the PACKAGE ! Maybe this time you will get it correct !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a nice little gadget, but it can only do small hooks.. no big size hooks will fit into this..

It only ties one single type of knot but it is easier to use especially if you have problem with dexterity in your fingers

I bought this because my hands a fingers have arthritis but I love to fish. So I thought it would help to tie knots for hooks. I tried 15 times to get it to work. The instructions are on youtube. It will only use 6 to 10 lb test monofilament line. It will work with one size hook. A #2 and #4. I will need to be a spaded hook. It will not do hooks with eyelets. The knot it does tie you can pull it apart . Imagine losing a 7 to 8lb. Bass. I would not trust it. I am disappointed in the limitations it has. Please don't waste your money.
