Wolverine Evans 1000 Mile Boot Men's

This is an excellent boot. It appears to run a bit wide in the 7D. I have ridiculously small, but moderately wide feet, though not wide enough for EE. If I have a problem with shoes, boots, sneaks they will generally be a shade narrow in the toe box. The Wolverines were a tad wider in the toe box than actually suited. I solved the problem with inserts and now the boots fit me very well. The leather is very high-grade and the boots look great on one's feet. I bought them to wear when I ride my Triumph Bonneville T100, the old Brit-Bike classic design that calls for a pair of boots like this. Woody Guthrie boots, you might say. Or maybe Tom Joad. Sometimes, when I'm riding, I can't help but look down at my boots on the pegs and smile to myself. The perfect choice. They are also very nice to walk about in. I'd buy them again in a minute. I've seen some questions about the authenticity of the boot. My boots are made by Wolverine; it's stamped right into the leather. The quality and the craftsmanship are apparent immediately; no doubts about it.

I tried a pair in another style (the traditional 1000 mile boots) on in a store and, like others, found that a 1/2 size smaller than my usual size provided a comfortable fit. Thus, when I ordered these boots, I was confident that I ordered the correct size. The boots break in quickly, look great, and are comfortable to wear. They don't provide any special arch support. This isn't a problem for me, but if I needed arch support I would have brought along an insert when I tried boots on in the store. I do like the fact that these have rubber soles.

Seem like a great pair of boots so far. I also ordered a half size smaller than my normal size and that worked for me. Still breaking them in.

Compared to the standard 1000 mile boot, these have the nice lug outsole which provides traction as well as a black contrast to the brown boot. You'll also notice that this leather's color is more varied and less uniform, light spots and dark spots, than the standard 1000 mile boot, which makes them look worn already. The shade of brown itself is different too. These boots do take a few wears to break in, but have thick durable Horween Chromexcel leather. Enjoy!

Boot fits as expected. As many have expressed in other postings, order a half size smaller than you normally would. Otherwise the boot appears to be well made nice styling. Wears well with jeans ir khakis.

The boots fit good and there was little break in period. I ordered a half size down.

Fit perfect out of box, best pair of boots I've ever got out of the box. If you can save up and get these, they are worth every penny.

Want them for work on light duty days or street wear

They are nice boots but they sent me the wrong ones and the wrong color. Lol . I suspect because I ordered a size 6 . I decided to keep them because I still liked them . Most people would be mad and send them back .
