This is a very good product. But please note that it should smell nice, be clear in colour and not sticky. If it is orange in colour, sticky, and smells 'off' .... then it has oxidised and should be returned. The oxidised product can cause your skin to turn orange, clog your pores, and actually make your hyper-pigmentation darker. I only discovered this by going to the Skinceuticals website (that sells very expensive Vitamin C serum) - after I had bought an oxidised product. So make sure yours is fresh - before you give negative feedback.
