I have locs and prefer to do my detox and deep conditioning at home (it’s cheaper than the salon) so I bought this steamer for the deep conditioning. I’m sitting here with this cap on now and I can feel the heat. It takes maybe 5 minutes to heat up but it does works just fine. Easy to use, light weight, fits well on my head and cute design.

I want to first make it clear that this hair steamer actually warms your hair for a deep condition. It does not dry your hair so don’t give a bad review for that. I found it to be well made. I’ve used it a few times so far and really like it. I love that the heat mainly stays on my hair and not heat the entire room, making it hot. I like the safety feature where it turns off after 15 minutes although others complain about this. Most times by the time I notice that it has cooled down its warming back up again. The cord is long enough for me as I sit in a chair right in front of the outlet. I like to use it 30 minutes or so at a time. I have hair down to the middle of my back when straightened and it fits my head just fine. I use a plastic cap on my hair and then put the steamer on. I can tell a difference in the manageability of my hair, in conjunction with a good conditioner. My hair is over processed and this has helped a lot. I felt softness for the first time in awhile. I wish I had bought this a long time ago. I would highly recommend!

Im obsessed with this heated hair steamer! It makes my deep conditioning treatments feel like a real salon experience, but at home and way more affordable. My hair comes out super soft, shiny, and healthy every time. Definitely a must-have for anyone who loves good hair days!

I like using this! The heat is good - doesn't get too hot. Sometimes it seems as if it doesn't stay hot for long, maybe 15 - 20 mins, then it starts to cool off, but for some conditioners, that's all I need. Feels good on my head.

The steamer works well for deep conditioning and heats up nicely, but the cap didn’t fit my head properly. The snap tie tends to slide and won’t lock securely, and the material feels stiff, which makes it harder to adjust and keep in place. Because of this, it was uncomfortable to use for longer sessions. Effective for steaming, but the fit and design need improvement.
