Replaced a poor connector with this one. Excellent quality. Great instructions. Very tight grip around the power cord.

Great product! Exceeds expectations. Accommodates three strands of 10 gauge insulated wire with ease. Slightly more expensive than the Veepeak 30 Amp Female Replacement Receptacle also offered by Amazon, but well worth the extra $$. I struggled for two hours with the Veepeak, which not accommodate the the three strands of 10 gauge wire in my 30 amp RV extension cord. The Camco 55343 installation took 15 minutes at most

Nice and sturdy and wonderful handle
I bought this to make up a custom cord to plug in my trailer to my generator (already had the other end of the cord). This end is nice and sturdy and has that wonderful handle on it. The handle makes it a breeze to disconnect. I plan on buying more when I rebuild some other cords. The only reason this got 4 and not 5 starts is that it doesn't appear to be very water resistant. I'm not saying I expect something that could operate under water, but it looks like this thing could get soaked to the bone with just a light rain. I'll probably try a bunch of chalking when do the other ends (and maybe even redo this one).

El diametro de la parte que en teoria es la que entra en el receptaculo, es mayor por lo tanto no hay manera de conectarlo, trate de lijarlo pero es demasiado lo que habria que quitar,CAMCO hay que probar los productos con los receptaculos y que enbone en todos, lastima

The Cord connectors are nice and solid making a firm connection to the wire. The connectors make a good electrical connection to the mating plug. No heat like my original. It was easy to install with the length of strip identified for the wire. Good wirr clamping too. I will buy this again.
