It does -- sort of. Mine is still "clear" if you do not consider the yellow cast and hundreds of bubbles.

Yes -- but you need to combine each 4 oz bottle (equally) together in order for the process to work. So, essentially, when complete - you will have 8 oz of casting material.

can you use any kind of dye to add color or just resin dye

I second acrylic paint! That's what I use and it works great and is affordable. I just add one drop at a time until I reach my desired color (use as little as possible because resin hates moisture). Mix mix mix, and voila! I use a straw to carefully blow out any bubbles and it looks great :)

Is this a complete kit with the catalyst? I had to ask this for similar products since no package contents are shown or described.

Yes, well kind of. It's a two part resin, combine equal parts of Part A (Resin) with Part B (Hardener.) A catalyst serves the same purpose of a hardener, but is used in a much smaller proportion to the resin. So technically it does not have a catalyst nor does it need one, the hardener replaces it.
