WallFlower Plus Size Basic Legendary Skinny Jeans

I'm 5'4" and 200lbs and a true apple shape. My torso is long though so my legs are more like someone who is 5'1"-5'2". I typically wear size 16 short inseam pants.I bought 3 pairs of skinny jeans: These in size 14,  these Wallflower jeans  in size 17, and  these Levi's  in size 16. Based on reviews, it seemed liked all of these sizes should be roughly similar (they were for the most part!)I felt that these jeans ran larger than expected (even after adjusting by other reviews). The size 14 was still looser than I wanted. It felt like there was too much fabric in the crotch area - like my pelvis area should have been larger to fill it out, somehow. It might have something to do with my butt... I have a pretty average sized butt (and I don't have this problem with other jeans), but it could be that these are designed for more hourglass shaped plus sized figures.These jeans are SUPER long for skinnies! Usually I want skinnies to hit right at my ankle but these came all the way down to the floor and a couple inches curved under my heel. Crazy long on me. The description says 32" inseam, but I measured 31.5" on the pair I got. If you wear a regular (32") inseam normally, these will be too long on you, since they'll bunch at your ankle.The fabric has a nice weight to it - not on the same level as Levi's, but still nice. The fabric also has a somewhat rough feel to it. It's also quite stretchy. I think other reviewers mentioned a smell. There is a smell, but you have to be ~2 inches away to smell it. I did not wash these so I don't know if that smell stays.The front rise measures 10" which I felt was a little low for a 'Natural Rise'.I felt that they weren't super skinny - they were still loose on my lower legs, like what you see in the picture. I liked this about them since I would feel uncomfortable in something skin tight.Overall though, the quality is great for the price, and they are super cute on. I just wish they fit me! If you are usually a size 16 like me, stay away from these. I ended up keeping the other 2 pairs I bought instead.

I like that these skinny jeans look flattering and are reasonably priced. They are not too tight in the legs which I think helps them more comfortable too . I have only just tried them on and want to wash them before I wear them but I'm optimistic that I will love these . The fabric is a little thinner than what I like for cold MN winters but it has a nice feel and they have enough stretch to be able to wear another layer under them. They seem a little big in the waist but I have trouble with that on pretty much any pants I buy so I'm used to needing a belt.Revised 1/4/17: after washing these one time I found a small hole about the size of a dime. I did not notice anything before washing so it's disappointing that they would get damaged that easily. I won't be able to return them because they have been washed. Since my sewing machine is broke down I will need to pay someone to patch them and they will end up costing me as much as the heavier jeans I usually buy (or possibly more).Revised 3/21/17: these skinny jeans were actually not the pair that got the hole in them, it was the boot cut pair that I ordered at the same time. I LOVE these skinny jeans and would have ordered another pair but the price went up, so I decided to try another brand first before ordering another one of these. They are warmer than I thought they would be and I think that might have something to do with the close fit (no cold draft up the pant leg). They might be too warm in the hottest part of the summer but should still be fine in the spring and fall.

I purchased this pair of jeans in a size 18. Normally I wear a 18W from Cato's, but I had been looking for a pair of skinny jeans that would fit a big girl the right way. I was hesitant about purchasing them because they were a Juniors plus size and my thought was, "I'm 35 so I shouldn't even consider a juniors pair of jeans." My second thought was to take the chance and at least try them on. If they didn't fit I've never had an issue with returning the through Amazon so why not try it. I have to say I am so glad I did. These jeans are VERY comfortable. They stretch to fit my curves in all the right places. There is no issue with having a muffin top. They are truly a skinny jean and even though I have a hard time wearing rider boots because of my large calves. I could still wear the boots over top of the jeans because they are snug like a skinny jean is supposed to be. I literally wear them all the time for almost a year. I am so impressed with Wall-flower that I'm purchasing another pair today. I would recommend this jean to everyone I know. If you are having reservations on whether to buy this jean I would definitely take the chance with this pair because you will be pleasantly surprised. What's the worst that could happen they don't fit right and you do a refund or exchange through Amazon? The only thing your out is time.

Love these! Great color! They are a little long I'm 5'4.5" and I have to roll the bottoms up about 2 inches.. (Important to note the inside of the Jean is a dark color, so it doesn't look weird to roll them up - actually makes them look cuter in my opjnion)... They are a little gappy in the waist - but I like my pants high, so it allows me to pull them up past my belly button. If you like low-rise (unless you have an out-of-this-world-ginormous-butt) these are not for you. They also get a little baggy after you've worn them a full day - but they don't completely lose their shape. I love them, they are comfy, and a very nice color. I received compliments and was even told I looked thinner in these jeans!

I am excited to find a brand of jeans that is affordable, comfortable, and stylish. I ordered a size 20 plus, long which is the size I own for my jeans from other brands. I was delighted, and slightly annoyed, to find that these are already too big. I am in the process of losing weight, and trying not to spend a lot of $ on clothes as the lbs come off. So, it was nice to try a new brand for a decent cost; and since I'm in between sizes I will not return this pair...looking forward to buying the next size down very soon!
