Great quality claws. I had one of the more plastic sets of these for the last couple of years. I lost or misplaced them so decided to buy some more. Now the plastic ones were nice and they worked, the tips of the claws had all softened up and curled a bit from shredding muliple pulled pork roasts with them. They were robust, but just at the tips the heat dulled and twisted them a bit.So when I replaced them I knew I wanted to go with a stainless set so the tips would stay sharp. This set seems to be of good quality. I broke them in with the Christmas Prime rib using them to rotate the roast around on my grill and get a good sear and some charcoal flavor on the outside of the roast.These can be used to shred meat such as pulled pork or shredded chicken. They also work great to carry a large roast or large cooked bird. Lastly you can use them to hold your meat while you slice it. They give you much better control then the old large meat forks do. They worked flawlessly, felt good in my hand, and were usable with high temp grill gloves. Great Purchase. The company also has a sense of humor advising men not to pretend to be wolverine with the claws in the user manual..

The Meat Claws were perfect for lifting and pulling apart a large pork roast--MUCH easier than trying to do it with two forks. These are substantial tools with thick metal claws that won't bend or break apart. The heavy-duty handle is comfortable and molded to the metal claws--it won't come apart or loosen. Clean-up is simple because the handle is plastic, there are no screws or other pieces that could rust, and no small crevices that are difficult to clean. The Claws come in a nice box that works very well for storage. Highly recommend the Cave Tools Meat Claws.

Smoked 4 Boston butts this past weekend, about 40 lbs uncooked weight. Pulling the finished meat was a breeze with these. I have used a plastic set of another make before, and bought these when the claw tips started breaking off the other set.The business end of these are both sturdy and sharp enough to slice through the meat without having to use too much effort. The other really nice thing is that the handles gave me good grip even into the 4th butt. And as you can see in the pic, there is plenty of room in the handle for bigger hands--I don't have giant paws, but if you do, you probably will like these a lot. There was some buildup of pulled meat between the claws from time to time, but it was easy to clean it out each time.All in all, very good claws that are worth getting.

I just received my "Meat Claws" package 15 minutes ago (7/30/21) so I haven't gotten the chance to use them yet. However, I was immediate impressed with the way they were packaged and upon opening the box I was likewise impressed with the sturdyness of these tools. They are not some flimsy sheet metal stamping and I'm confident that they will serve outstandingly well for their designed purpose. There are no "complicated" parts to lose or break and cleaning them before and after use is a non-event. I'm looking forward to cooking something where I can put them to use. Additionally, the time from initial order to their delivery was nothing short of outstanding with no special delivery requirements in place.

Really good quality. Was worried couldn't judge strength of steel from pics and might be flimsy but they are of a nice thick guage and perfectly strong. Also they are sharp enough to do the job but without being so sharp points that might risk minor injuries. Regularly cook pulled pork and was fed up of trying to use forks that just instantly clog. So many of these claws are plastic and the way they are used with force certainly didn't want yet more plastic from harsh wear and tear going into my food, so with a steel business end these are 100% safe. The moulded plastic handles have a nice shape to get plenty of force into the job without the claws rotating in your hands and are fully sealed to the metal for easy clean.Cost is also worth it as I am also using them for other jobs like safely lifting and maneuvering all kinds of roast meats and also you can use one on its own as a great carving aid.

I laugh at some of the reviews, I watched one guy trying to pull apart a block of rubber and everyone else thinks they should be as sharp as a chef's knife. For the spacing, it works well for us, they shred up a smoked pork shoulder well I havent used on chicken or anything else yet, I got them mostly for pork shoulder.
