Our 11 month old granddaughter loves all the titles in this series. The first copy of the Bach edition had a minor defect in that the button to activate playback of “Jesu Bleibet Meine Freude” would not function, but that book was quickly replaced by a new book that functions perfectly and plays longer excerpts of all the included Bach pieces than the first one. Highly recommend these books to introduce young ones to classical composers at an early age in a format they and their parents (and grandparents) will enjoy.

It is a book about Bach’s extraordinary life life as a musician from a very young age. It shows children how they experience music too as a young child. Each time you turn a page there is more music to listen to. She already has a Beethoven version and loves it.

This is a wonderful and fun book for children to learn about and enjoy music. My 20 month old granddaughter loves to press the button on each page to hear the musical piece. Each page has a different work by Bach. She sways back and forth and dances to the music. You just need to remember to turn off the battery in the back of the book or else it will drain the battery. The illustrations of the animals playing different instruments are great. Children can learn to identify different animals and instruments.

My baby really enjoys The Animal Orchestra Plays Bach — the illustrations are adorable, and the music is high quality and engaging. It’s a great way to introduce classical music to little ones. The only downside is that the sound volume is quite loud, which can be a bit much for babies’ sensitive ears. Still, it’s a charming and well-made book that we enjoy reading (and listening to) together.

Bought as a present for a friend's child, will definitely buy for my own little one when they're ready. Good quality book, a cute intro to classical music and hopefully fun for curious little minds.
