Hamiledyi Hamster Bath Sand 2 LB Dust Free Gerbil Powder Grooming Bath

I learned of this product while searching Amazon for Hamster items. This is how I learned there was such a thing as sand baths for hamsters. My dwarf hamster loves it and will go to it right away anytime I change and freshen it up. Definitely recommend.

My hamster rolled around in the sand when I first made him a sandpit, but then he covered it up with bedding. Now he digs down to the sand under the bedding once in a while to roll around in the sand. I can see he likes the sand but he doesn’t use it often, maybe once a month.

My hamster hates the rocks but loves the sand. When i clean her cage she goes straight to it and seems to clean her face. She then uses it as her number one potty.

I really like this product. The sand is very fine and silky, but it is not dusty at all. My hamsters loved it! My one complaint is that it isnt offered in a larger size. I have three hamsters, and it was only enough for one dish for each of them, one bath each. For one hamster, all you would get out of it is about three or four uses.

The product is exactly what I would like it to be but the packaging is horrible and every time I get it the dust bath is spilling out everywhere.

Our Russian dwarf hamster loves this sand! We let her have a bath twice a week, and when she sees her little sandbox, she runs into it and flips upside down repeatedly. She’ll return and repeat several times before we remove the sandbox after a few hours. The sand has never caused her any side effects, is easy to clean, and one bag lasts quite a while. I recommend this product.
