Great addition to wrangler jl rear hatch. I hard wired it with power adapter separation connectors for this and hazard lights to the rear light assembly. Really bright and attention getter, more lights and blinking the better! Great product !

The length is a perfect fit for my 2011 jeep wrangler Sahara, easy install and works as advertised with a nice bright white light and all the colors worked, great item for the price.

UPDATED 9/4/25: I am updating my review from a one star to a four star after having gotten a positive response from the seller after my initial review below. The seller reached out to me via Amazon messaging and ended up sending me a brand-new replacement unit and not requiring me to send this defective unit back as a return. I understand that once in a while a defective product is receoved by a customer (regardless of what the item is) and the seller was very responsive to this experience. After receiving the new (replacement) light set I was able to 'mix and match' the old and new parts in an attempt to find out (for my own curiosity) what the issue was. It turns out that the new unit works just fine and the problem seems to be with the original lighter plug and cable that runs from the lighter socket and then plugs into the lights. I unscrewed the lighter plug and looked at the internal glass fuse and it was perfectly fine and not blown, so I am not certain 'what' the exact issue is, but it's definately related to that plug and cable section. The end result is that the seller was responsive and a replacement unit (that worked) was received and all is now well. Initial Review (late August 2025). DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I received these a couple of days ago and installed them on my jeep hartop window the same day, and because I pay close attention to details and like things neat and orderly, they were installed correctly and the wire to the 12v lighter socket in the cargo area of my Jeep was neatly run. All of my fuses are good and the thighter socket is getting power (I triple checked and even the indicator light (that is built into the male socket part of these lights) iindicated that power was present, however, the lights will not power on. Fuses good? Yes. Installed correctly? Yes. Socket has 12v power? Yes. Lights come on as they should? NO. I'm not 100% certain, but the problem 'seems' to be with the remote or the remote's signal receiver that is built into the wiring and when pressing the "On" button on the remote (or ANY buttons on the remote) nothing happens. I even spent an additional $5 purchasing a new button battery for the remote (in case the one it was shipped with was dead) and no change, the lights are still defective and dead on arrival. I have tried everything to get these to work and have determined that it is 100% a defective product issue. After I had this problem I found a review (also posted for this product) with a video showing someone else with the EXACT same problem, everything has power but the lights are dead and won't come on. Hindsight is 20/20, but in retrospect I should have plugged this into the lighter socket to test them BEFORE installing them, but seriously, what are the changes of a simple low-tech LED strip NOT working??? Apparently 100% with this product. I did post a question asking about this issue to see if I was missing anything and the seller responded asking for my order number and after I immediately provided it..... radio silence. Now I have started a return and I have to UNINSTALL this piece of garbage, box it up, attach a lable, and drop it off. What a pain. Although these are probably all made in the same factory in China and sold under different made-up seller names that make no sense (like "XHDLJZCQHROSHOPHXZ"), purchase something else and save yourself the hassle. The one thing that would cause me to change this review to at least a three (maybe four) star would be if the seller seimply sent a replacement set to me that worked and I didn't have to go through the return headache. If that happens I'll update this review, if not, it stays one star.

This is a handy light for both my cargo compartment and for activities on the backside of the vehicle. It gives off plenty of light with the white light used or great mood lighting with the colors. Even under red light, there’s plenty of light to see what’s going on if I’m hunting or something similar. The remote makes it even more convenient when I am campingI would buy it again.

The adhesive on both the light strip itself as well as the little wire keepers is absolutely terrible. They have hardly any stickiness to them and just fall right off. I tried using a heat gun to soften the adhesive material and increase adhesion and it worked for a day, but by the next day the light strip had fallen off and will not stick back on. The whole product is completely useless as it cannot be installed on any surface the way it comes.

It was a very easy and straightforward install. It's been cold lately, and no peeling at all; it is holding up well. I also used velco tape on the remote and have it by the plug outlet in my Jeep so I don't lose it.
