Works perfectly with my A7IV. Sceptical at first as it's a very reasonable price, no doubts as it does what it says.

Does what I need it to do - Canon EOS R6II version
This cable release does what I need it to do - operate my Canon R6 II. Slight pressure works the auto focus and a full press releases the shutter. The only downside with the shutter release is the build quality. It has a cheap, light weight feel, but otherwise it does what I need to it to do.

Securing ring does not fit on nikon Z8
A simple cabled shutter release. Read the reviews made sure it was to fit nikon z8. The reviews were good. I received mine on 6 November 2025. And tried it on my Camera, however, the tin pin connector fits into the socket on the camera but the screwed in thread to secure it on to socket would not engage no matter how much I tried. This product is pretty much useless even though it supposed to fit the Z8. Do not purchase waste of money.
