Has anyone tried this with Acevue Lenses? If so, does is cause eye soreness?

This is a solution for Rigid Gas Permeable lenses and so will not be suitable with a soft Acuvue contact lens

Is this thicker and more viscous than typical multipurpose contact lens solution, which is just like water?

It is not as thick as Bosch and Lomb, but better than own brand solutions was a reasonable alternative.

Is this for storing hard lenses overnight or rubbing into them to clean? Also, can this be used to fill contacts before inserting?

I use to store and insert lenses. I use gas permeable. Works well, cleans well, no discomfort.
