Does anyone use these as a mass duplicating device? for example copying 20gb of data to 7 usb keys simultaneously? is it asynchronous copying?

The unit I have is the earlier 7-port USB2 device, but in any case I don't think you could copy one file to 7 USB keys in one operation - you could maybe start copying the file to one key, then start the next, then the next, etc., so they appear to be copying more-or-less in parallel - but you might be limited by the operating system...
