Can I turn off the backlight to ensure total darkness at night, without turning the radio off at the mains?

Press menu on the remote then using the buttons on the right scroll SYSTEM press enter - scroll to BACKLIGHT press enter - scroll to DIM level press enter - select LOW press enter - scroll to TIMEOUT press enter - scroll to the setting you want, I have mine set to 30 seconds press enter. When you've done this PRESS MENU the radio will return to normal. What happens now is your radio display will DIM to very low light after 30 seconds. When I say low, you can barely see it but it doesn't go completely dark. I hope this helps you, Good Luck.

How do you operate the snooze function ? there's normally a big 'snooze' button but i can't see one. thanks for your help.

Hiya you need to put it on aux function then hold down the menu button and system appears , press enter & use the left hand dial to navigate through all the options
