These bite size treats are delicious! A healthier alternative. I saw some reviews where chocolate was discolored, the two I have opened so far are fresh, no discoloration to indicate that it melted or was older chocolate. Price is a bit high for 8 bite size pieces, but I waited for price to go down. One is satisfying but if they weren't individually wrapped, perhaps I would eat more at a time. Simple ingredients, I could make these at home, just dates, chocolate and almonds. The dates are small and tender. I would consider purchasing again.

I love that they are individually wrapped and not loose in the bag. When I discovered this, I was all ready to share a couple with a friend, but once I tasted it I decided against it. These are rather.. blah. The dates are very small and kinda dry. Not inedible, just not what I was expecting. I think I just assumed these used medjool dates, but I see now it gives no indication. Why did I choose these? Well. quite simply, I impulse purchased these. I should have looked at this more carefully before ordering. I HAD been looking at similar products using medjool dates, and I saw these were cheaper. These dont use medjool dates. These use something.. else. Prunes? Very different taste than medjool. Prunes or whatever are ok, just not what I want when I expected a medjool date. That is what you want to use for dessert/candy bar like experience. SO, if you want a dessert/candy bar like experience, go with something that uses medjool dates. Trust me on this. Even better, buy yourself some plain medjool dates- make sure they have their pits still as that is what helps them stay moist (and are so very easy to take out). Then stuff it with whatever sounds good. I REALLY like brazil nuts as they have a crisp crunch. Pair the two together and it has a very sweet candy bar like taste. Yet unlike a candy bar, there are only so many I can eat. It just seems to hit the sweet tooth faster, which is great if trying to not gobble down a bag of kit kats. Go ahead and dip in chocolate for added deliciousness. I stuff them with whatever nut or seeds I have on hand. I wouldnt bother with dates that arent medjool. Again, totally different taste and texture. I will finish these off, but I dont really like them. Again, rather blah, boring. Go for it if you want something that doesnt really taste like anything. Some people really like them. Just not me.

Usually, I don’t write reviews, but wanted to alert 🚨 shoppers. these dates were not edible. I checked the expiration date so seems like they weren’t expired, but the chocolate was all dried out and powdery and so were the dates. I had one and got a stomachache for several hours afterwards. Do not recommend.
