I've been using this carnitine supplement for a week, and it's been working so well, I haven't needed my cup of black coffee pre-workout. Even though I prefer to work out first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, some mornings it's hard to get moving. I needed a cup of black coffee to get me going, but these supplements are doing a good job on their own. I make sure to drink lots of water with my supplement, wait about 20 minutes, and I've noticed I feel better going into my workout, and I'm working harder too. I haven't noticed any weird side effects.
