We've had these capsules on subscribe-and-save from Amazon for over a year, and I really like these Lavazza capsules. The intensity rating on the box helps you identify and balance what you like in your coffee. While the 9 / 13 rating was labeled as medium roast, it's probably closer to a dark roast, with a very rich flavor. They consistently make a great cup of coffee, with great aroma and a rich crema on top of the coffee, every time. We found these are often much cheaper than some of the other brands of compatible pods, and this multipack is always cheaper than what I see these for in the grocery store. So, based on cost, ease of use, consistency in flavor, and the ease of a subscribe-and-save delivery that makes sure I never run out of coffee, I highly recommend these capsules.

A good alternative for the nespresso pods. Just wait for the price to go on sale. I find the espresso to be smooth and no sour taste.

Very good coffee.

I had almost a hundred percent casualty.Rate on every espresso pod that I tried in this batch sixty units and not one of them delivered a full espresso drink.I tried getting a hold of lavaza.They said they'd need to call me back.And of course, they never did.It's too bad because they actually have pretty good coffee.But this particular brand of pod collapsed, and i've never seen anything like it. I specifically did not like them, not returning my call after they said they would. I do know this.The problem is not with the puncturing part of the system.It is with the pressure if I puncture it.And don't turn the water on, it's fine, but as soon as you add the water to it, it collapses.

The price is worth it and its tasty.

Great coffee. I always have one or two pods that collapse and won’t brew which is disappointing.

The coffee itself is very good. However, the pods are not pierced as quickly as they should. The best ones will bypass a small amount of water but most bypass a relatively large amount. If it wasn't for that I would buy them again. I've compensated by removing my cup until I see the coffee flow. If it bypass for a long time, I run the machine for a comparable amount of time to get a close to correct volume.
