Decent wok for the money.
First off, I've seen lots of complaints about the lid. It is very lightweight, almost like a balsa wood or some such and I seriously doubt it was meant for use while cooking, maybe for covering food after cooking (and no longer steaming) at best, it does have a smell to it even after washing. I plan to use it for storage purposes only and it should be fine for that. On first use some of the bottom seasoning cooked off onto our glass stovetop but it cleaned up easily with just a damp cloth, I'd recommend giving the bottom a good scrubbing to prevent this. That was the only issue I've had with this wok.The wok itself seems pretty good. The wok is fairly heavy duty and is heavier than my old, much larger wok. The bottom heated up quickly but the heat didn't seem to travel up the sides as much as I'm used to. After cooking a couple batches of fried rice and some stir fry, I'm pretty happy with this wok. As for the handle, the wooden part of mine didn't have any cracks or flaws and attached easily, the metal bracket on the wok feels strong, zero issues there. The wooden handle seems to be holding up and working just fine. All in all, I'd say this wok is a good value for the money. In my opinion, it is the perfect size for 2 cups (cooked) sized batches of fried rice. The flat bottom worked out nicely on our smooth top stove, no wobble at all, nice flat bottom. I've used that wooden spatula a couple times for fried rice and it worked fairly well, no complaints and it was better than I expected. One chopstick was warped and worthless but I don't plan on using the chopsticks anyway so no big deal. I was looking for a wok, not cheap/junk accessories for one. For the price, I'm quite happy with this wok.

Rusted
The media could not be loaded. The wok is nice size. It looked nice and shiny when arrived but it got rusted only after 2 times of use. It does need seasoning or oil coating to become non stick or safe to cook food in it. Buy a stainless or aluminum wok if you dont want to deal with extra work of coating the wok. This one is carbon steel and it rust easily unless you coat it correctly.

Very disappointed. Food stick issue.
Very disappointed. Food stick issue.I followed the pre-seasoning process.Wash, preheat,oil,7 minutes heating, 5 hours setting with the oil in place. Clean. The light oil wipe down. Cook handful of veggies, toss out. Wipe down. Light oil wipe down. I did all this step by step. Then 1st fried rice cook, it stuck worse than my old worn out wock I wanted to replace.I wouldn't recommend this wock.Wish I'd kept the original box, I'd return it.It looks nice .

A Good Wok
As of writing, I have had this wok for about four months. I purchased it because we have a ceramic top stove and wanted a wok with a flat bottom (Things can still be brought up the sides for less heat.). The wok itself is of good quality and feels sturdy. I clean it with steel coil scrub pads and oil it after drying. It never has had rust and shows no signs of wear. The texture lessens food sticking. The tools that come with it are light weight and cheap. The lid is fine.I would buy this again if I needed another wok.
