Men's Expedition Scout 40mm Fabric Strap Watch

Brilliant watch and love the blue dial. The indiglo feature is great in low light and the watch is robust and fits on my 6.75 inch wrist perfectly. The second hand does not line up 100% with the markers but for the price this isn't a deal breaker. I changed the strap but only as a style choice...the strap supplied is good but I wanted leather not fabric. Overall great value for a classic military looking watch.

Bargain of the year! Great watch, looks great, great lume. Nice enough to wear at work or casually. The original strap is great also looks good on a NATO as well. Haven't taken it off since it arrived.

This watch is really good , it ticks nicely , keeps time well , and has a really solid casing. It feels like it's been put together well and doesn't rattle at all. Even the mineral glass on it is alot more scratch resistant than my Swatch irony and my vostok komanderskie ( given that one uses acrylic ). The straps that come with it are comfy , but i prefer to use leather straps on it as it's a classy looking watch and I already own a diver for a sporty look. All this is good ;however, this watch has one thing that maybe a no no to some people . It basically ticks really loud and it can be audible in a quiet room . I live in a dorm and if the watch isn't in a box I can hear it tick , which can get annoying if you're trying to sleep . If you really want the watch for the time keeping and durability , then get it and get yourself a watch box or something that can dampen it's noise at night so you can sleep in peace. For its price , few watches compete with such quality or have a long heritage like Timex does. As a result , if you appreciate watches and want it for yourself or a gift , this is the perfect watch as a daily beater or a friendly gift gesture. UPDATE : I recently bought it NATO straps , and the ticking sound somehow dissapered . It might be the fsbric padding stopping the watch from making loud ticks. So , it's an easy fix it seems.

This is an extraordinary watch for the money. I paid £33 for it on an Amazon deal. The watch seems very tough. The nylon strap is nice and long, comfortable and looks very well made with a good buckle/clasp. The dial is nice and clear and well made. The orange sweep hand is a nice touch. The backlight is a masterpiece and a very useful feature which is vastly superior to cheap luminous coatings which, at this price, are generally pointless. I can imagine that this watch will weather a rough and tumble lifestyle very well. My only small criticism is the sweep/second hand doesn't align with the marking on the dial especially well but this is not a Grand Seiko or a Rolex so it's nitpicking really. I don't find the tick loud as others have stated, it just sounds positive. All in all a well made, good looking, fun military style watch for peanuts. Fit a Nato strap and it will be even nicer. This is a perfectly good watch for the price, the inidglo light is great. I have owned mine for around 3-4 years. It has worked fine until very recently. However, the date has now stopped working - it sticks on whatever day it is set to, and the watch stops from time to time and needs a knock to start it again. Thinking this was a low battery, I changed it. The case is very soft brass under a thin layer of paint, and the back in stainless steel. This makes prying the snap back off without causing damage to the case very difficult. Changing the battery has not solved the problem, so I think the watch has reached the end of its life. This isn't bad for a cheap watch, but I wore a Casio F91W in the field as a soldier for many years and it still works after a decade with no issues. If you want a genuinely tough watch, I'd recommend one.

after one week the light stopped working. i just wore it, no excercising, no military training. just basic daily wear. such a shame, as it is a great looking watch. not sure if it was bad luck or what, but i need to find another one, doubt it will be by timex tho i should add that automated system offered me a partial refund of £4.17 (for the whole missing feature) for me to keep it. i did not take it, what if another thing breakes in another week?

Acheter en juillet dernier , cette montre a tout pour plaire , verre minéral (résistes mieux au rayure ) et ce même avec qu'elle que rayure franchement il fraudais chercher la petite bête pour voire les rayures . Le cadre est en Acier inoxydable ce qui ajoute de la résistance aux multiples chocs que ma montre a reçu . Le vraie plus de cette montre c'est ce système Indigo qui est vraiment génial et peut orthodoxe sur une montre analogique . Autrement le premier petit bémol c'est sont bracelet qui n'est pas NATO mais cela n'est pas un problème , on coupe les bracelets au ciseaux , on achète une paire de bracelet NATO en largeur 20 mm et on l'installe et là vous aurez une montre a toutes épreuve . Le second petit bémol c'est que cette montre fait du bruit la nuit mais bon au moins elle fonctionne et elle est très jolie avec ces aiguilles phosphorescente ================MaJ================ Après 2 ans d'utilisation je vais maintenant vous donner plus de précisions sur le long terme concernant la Timex expédition: tout d'abord j'ai changé le bracelet qui était d'origine non NATO par un bracelet NATO ce qui a pour effet en fait d'être plus résistant mais j'ai eu une barre qui s'est cassé bon ceci n'est pas très grave puisque j'ai acheté un kit pour réparer ma montre en mettant la petite barre de maintien de du bracelet sinon la montre elle prend du retard au moins 2 heures par jour donc il a fallu que je règle quasiment tous les jours ma montre signe peut-être que la pile est usée et qui va falloir peut-être la changer autrement à part cela la montre fonctionne très bien je suis très content de mon achat je ne le regrette pas c'est une très belle montre et d'ailleurs je pense que je vais peut-être pas tarder à aller voir un horloger pour voir comment peut-on faire pour changer la pile qui est situé sur la montre. Sinon au niveau de l'étanchéité de la montre n'y a aucun soucis je la lave tous les jours elle est partie dans de la flotte. Bien entendu elle a eu des petites rayures ça c'est normal le revêtement est un peu rayé mais personnellement le niveau d'usure est pas aussi dégradé de ce que je pensais de cette montre le système indigo qui permet l'affichage fluorescent fonctionne toujours donc timex pour moi ça reste une marque fiable malgré des petites défauts qui subsistent ça reste quand même une montre abordable et peu cher.
