Perfection for the price
This is the best Toothbrush I have used ever in my 35 years of existence, its powerful yet gentle haven't tested its durability yet we will see in time then I'll edit this review as necessary, the only single problem I have with this product is it didn't come with a standard UK Plug 3 pin, it comes with a 2 pin and you need to buy an adapter to fit on the wall. I mean seriously they are selling this item to the UK you should have a 3 pin version, it comes in a white box no special packaging which is kind of a downer as its worth the investment to design them, and it should have a 3 pin plug version and in all honesty all products sold in the whole damn universe should have a built in converter 2 or 3 pin your choice its not hard to do, my external hard drive Western Digital has a plug that comes with a slide in that allows me to flip it to be either 2 pin or 3 pin plug. Still okay if you can get an adapter to get this working your either going to love it or like it a lot. Best toothbrush for the price, and quite an exhilarating experience when using different modes. You can also put the extra heads it comes with inside the UV container I don't know if this actually works but they say online it does, it has a timer on it once you close the lid for 7min I believe it then showers the heads with UV light killing bacteria then the UV light automatically shuts off, make sure the heads are angled to face the light before you close the lid. And on first charge don't use it charge it for 24 hours then its ready to use. There is a slight pause every 30 seconds to help you switch to other parts of your teeth if you want to follow its instructions to the letter. Personally I just use it for 2-3 minutes all over and gently right at the gum line. Combined with IBP toothbrush with either Janina sensitive whitening, BlanX Stain removal or BlanX white shock, Opalescence whitening, Sarakan natural toothpaste, or Biorepair plus toothpaste my teeth are quite white and feel great now. Yes I confess I bought many different types of toothpastes on Amazon to test them out lol still going to test perio-brite toothpaste. I think that they are all good toothpastes in their own right it just depends what taste you prefer better, if Janina was cheaper I would prefer that as it seems to be the best whitening for me next to opalescence which has the strongest fresh mint taste in it but has too much fluoride in it. BlanX has nice taste to it low levels of fluoride and makes your teeth feel clean as well. Bio repair plus fills in the holes in your teeth which is a good thing, whilst Sarakan doesn't taste as fresh as any of the others but is all natural toothpaste with no fluoride or preservatives. Anyway...the manual of IBP Sonic Toothbrush explains everything anyway its very simple to understand and use the product. I can finally give up on disposable sonic toothbrushes that you need batteries to operate, with this toothbrush it saves money in the long run duracel battery + sonic brush / vs IBP heads. I guess they could have done better with the colours white and bluish with a bit of silver in there what a terrible combo of colours, If I was designing it I would have gone with black/silver Full blue/silver white/black something that's uniform or design could be more stylish but this is what product evolution is about, colour doesn't bother me personally 1st and foremost the product has to do the job and do a good job which it does. I've started to use it for 4 minutes from the moment you turn it on it has a built in timer which every 30 seconds there is a pause to help you remember to move on to the next set of teeth imagine you divide your teeth in 4 sections, top has 2 bottom has 2 this includes front teeth and all around that section. so every 30 seconds when you get the pause just move onto the next part and use it near the gum line all around that section of your teeth, then when 2 minutes is up it will automatically shut down providing you don't turn it off then on , that resets the time back to 2 minutes. I personally use it on whitening mode first with whitening toothpaste for 2minutes then for a further 2 minutes with toothpaste that fills in the holes like bio repair plus. My teeth feel clean and look whiter than they have ever been in years. Also because the vibration adds pressure there's no need to push hard against your teeth I just barely touch my teeth with it I feel the vibrating brush push against it and I just slide it around till it gets all my teeth within the 2-4minutes.

Recommended for function, quality and value
So far, I rate this is the best electric toothbrush I've had. It has a better cleaning effect than the much more expensive Philips product I had previously (which had ridiculously expensive brush head replacements). It is light, comfortable and compact to handle, is thus easier to pack for a trip away, and appears to have plenty of charge for extended use away from home. The UV sterilization seems to work fine, I haven't seen any of the brown staining that the Philips brush developed on both the brush and base unit, there is no build-up of residue on the product anywhere as it is easy and quick to rinse clean after use. I've only had this for a few weeks, so far the first of the 4 brushheads supplied is holding up well to regular twice-daily use. The value and quality of this product seems excellent and I can see no reason not to give a strong recommendation

The best sonic toothbrush I have owned.
I have had quite a few sonic toothbrushes over the years including the big name brands. None of them has been as good as this, and some cost a lot more too. I particularly like the size of the head which is not too large. I have a rather exaggerated gag reflex so I really appreciate a small head. It lasts a long time from one charge which is ideal when going away for a few days. The three settings, clean, whiten and massage are great. You can tell by the speed and sound of the vibrations which setting you are on without looking. It is the first one I have had with an ultra violet sanitiser and it is reassuring to know that the head is kept away from the open air until used again. I really like this brush and for the price it is excellent value.

Good choice toothbrush
Great electric toothbrush. Would have given 5 stars if the 2-pin plug had been better quality ( it fits rather loosely in the socket so can easily disconnect). As a previous reviewer said, make sure the toothbrush is in your mouth before switching on or be prepared to clean the spray from all around!

Build quality poor, not robust, false economy
Brush head became stuck on the 'shaft' of the brush and in trying to remove it the plastic shaft broke off, rendering the brush completely useless. Annoyingly, this happened after only 13 months, wrote to the manufacturer, who did not even acknowledge my message. I bought this as a cheaper alternative to a better known sonic brand, however it has proven to be a false economy so I am back to a Sonicare - the battery life may not be great but on balance, and now they are cheaper, I think they are a better and more robust product than this. I found the brush head too soft on this brush also.

Surpassed expectations
Having been an oral b person for many years, I was looking for a new, sonic toothbrush, on my dentists recommendation. I checked out all of the sonic brushes and read all the reviews- in my opinion this one had the best, so I purchased it. It arrived in good time, was well packaged and has clear, easy to understand instructions. The brush is attractive (although the charging stand is too big to take on holidays) and comes with spare heads, which is great. The first use - after about 24 hours of charging - is a bit weird as it does tickle, but the results are great. Each overnight charge lasts for about 8 days so far, I have only had it for a month and a bit so I don't know when this will reduce, which it will in due course. However I think this product is great value for money and I recommend it without hesitation.

IBP Toothbrushes just get better and better.
IBP Healthcare IBP Sonic Ultra Violet Rechargeable Toothbrush I have been using electric toothbrushes since the mid 1970's, my first was a Pifco Broxodent Mains unit which I still have and it still works. I have used every brand of toothbrush on the market and many generations of them. Over the past year I have used the IBP B091 and the IBP B093. I am now using the latest model on the market now the IBP RST 2032 Sonic Ultra Violet Rechargable Toothbrush which vibrates at 40,000 strokes per minute. This toothbrush has sorted out all the minor problems of their prevous models and I consider it to be the best toothbrush I and my wife have used and the best one on the market now, (and for such a reasonable price).

Just the job
When my last IBP sonic toothbrush failed (it was bought from QVC), I tried to re-order from them but they no longer stocked the product. I saw this here on Amazon and when it arrived I saw that it was in fact an overstock from QVC! Anyway it is very good and holds its charge very well. My teeth are very clean, the supplied brushes are not too hard. The ultra violet light gives you confidence that the brushes are free from bacteria. Another satisfied customer!
