This Gotrax hoverboard kart seat attachment has been an awesome upgrade and easily one of the best accessories we’ve bought for our hoverboard. Assembly was straightforward and took about 15–20 minutes, with all the parts fitting together well and feeling solid once tightened. I paired it with an 8.5” hoverboard and the fit was perfect — the frame clamps on securely and doesn’t shift or loosen during rides. The seat is surprisingly comfortable with decent padding, and the adjustable length makes it great for both kids and adults, which is a big plus in our house. Steering is smooth and very intuitive using the hand controls, and it feels much more stable and confidence-boosting than riding the hoverboard standing up, especially for kids. It rides best on smooth pavement or indoor floors, but that’s expected and doesn’t take away from the fun. Overall, it completely transforms a regular hoverboard into a go-kart-style ride that’s safe, sturdy, and ridiculously fun. My daughter loves it and I can also sit there even as adult. totally love it!

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to like it this much, but it’s so fun! It was easy to put together and makes riding the hoverboard way more comfortable. It feels safe and sturdy, and the controls are super easy to use. My family loves it—definitely a great buy!

This item is made of solid material and is sturdy. The directions could be confusing if you don’t know how to read schematics. It works well but the Velcro straps that attach the seat to the hoverboard scrap often. This has caused them to start to come apart quickly from applying breaks too quickly. Other than that my son has enjoyed this item!

This attachment completely changed the way we use our hoverboard. Turning it into a small go-kart makes it much easier to control and a lot more fun to ride. The frame feels sturdy and the assembly was pretty straightforward. Once installed, steering with the handles is very intuitive. Great accessory if you already have a hoverboard.

I’m throwing mine away. After about three ‘freak accidents’ on these, I witnessed what my kids were saying and I have to throw these away. Basically, if you don’t start/turn on the hoverboard in a neutral handlebar position, which is hard to find the right neutral spot between the forward and backwards position, the hoverboard is going to take off with maximum power, slingshotting your child into a wall or worse, the street. A child doesn’t have the ability to find a neutral position on both handlebars while reaching back and turning on the hoverboard. See my video! They are dangerous! Also, you have to replace the Velcro straps every 2 weeks, so expect to buy dozens of straps if you do get this. Buyer beware!

It is stable and safer than riding a hoverboard normally. It has decent speed but can’t really get to the point where it is unsafe. (Good for the kiddos) you can steer sharply and gradually while not able to yeet you off. It is fun and can teach your kids motor skills. It has good design, compatible with most hoverboards. It is functional and acts as advertised. I would highly recommend this hoverboard.

My son absolutely loves this. My only "complaint" would be that the straps attach right where the buttons are on the hoverboard so you can't access them easily & they turn it off sometimes. Doesn't seem to bother my son too much.
