Mighty Mule 12-Volt Battery for Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Openers (FM150) , Black

This battery has been an absolute workhorse for our gate system. In a high-traffic setting with over 40 open-and-close cycles per day, it has never failed us—not even once. That kind of reliability is hard to come by, especially for something that lives outside and handles constant use. Installation was simple and straightforward, and it’s compatible right out of the box with our Mighty Mule setup. It's clear that this battery was built specifically for the demands of an automatic gate, and it shows in the way it holds a charge and performs consistently. Living in a rural area where dependable access is critical, this battery has become an essential part of our day-to-day routine. No slowdowns, no surprises, just solid power you can count on every single day.

Bought this battery to power my old (and now discontinued) Mighty Mule MM260. Previously powered it with an old car battery for a few years but it finally kicked the bucket. So far no issues, but we will see how long it'll last. I do like the size and weight as it'll be easy to seal inside a container away from the weather.

After reading both low and high ratings, I determined that I would try the GTO. My gate was 16' long, but only weighed 100 lbs. I still ordered the MM500 (over-qualified for the task, but should last longer). Thus far, worked FANTASTIC. Only issue has been the solar panel failed, however, customer service helped trouble shoot over the phone and determined that it was probably a failed item and replaced it within 3 days of the return. Could not ask for more.

Had battery less than 4 months and because of some cold weather the battery stopped working. I was told solar batteries should last at least 5 years old. Piece of garbage.

Got a generic battery with my order. It was the proper specs and works, but not sure it's worth extra for a "Mighty Mule" battery. Complicated by the fact you don't know if it's Amazon's fault, Mighty Mule's fault, Mighty Mule's distributer's fault, or a sneaky customer that returned it. I'll update if the battery explodes and blows up my MM372 setup.

Good battery replacement to supplement power to gate. It fit exactly into the case next to the other batter. It was easy to install and cost was reasonable.

Old battery was a few years old and was only opening one side of the gate. New battery instantly solved the problem.

Ran the last battery to the point where it stopped opening our gate. For months prior I had to be within 10' of the receiver to engage. After replacing with our new battery I can now trigger the gate from over 400' away....why did I wait so long!?

After troubleshooting through the Mighty Mule site, it was determined a new battery was needed. Product is as advertised and worked to fix my issue.

Bought for a second battery for my opener. What can I say it's a battery.
