Does Vaseline or gloss over the top remove the colour?

Hey! No, not even oily food will take this lipstick off. The stain is that good. Only micelles water is capable of removing this lipstick. It will last on you for over 24 hours easily

Can you apply a lip gloss to this lipstick if you feel like adding a shine for a change or will it lose its durability?

I didn't have a problem applying lip gloss over this lipstick when I dabbed rather than rolled the lip gloss on. Made sure the lipstick was fully dried first and okay. Hope this helps x

Does this actually dry down eventually. After a few minutes it is still very sticky?

One reviewer says that Lover is a lilac more than a rose colour. What is shade 5 which sounds a paler rose?

Sorry, but I don't think I have ever purchased No:5 and if I have it didn't leave a good impression as I don't wear it. If you go to boots online there is a good pull down bar of ALL the shades available in this product. I wear No:10 Dreamer as it isn't too dark which looks very similar to No:5. I have purchased the lover before, but it was too dark for me.
