Are the base bolt holes for the transom the same at the 8foot sportman 2 series?

Will I be able to install this anchor on a 26' deck boat? Also, will it be strong enough to hold the boat?

Use two.  Boat will rotate with one.  Or u still have to use a anchor

In follow up to skeeter question. it will go via transom, will i need to purchase additional adapter plate?
