I tested it with cast-iron seared steaks and crispy skin salmon; it provided a beautiful, even crust without any of the bitter, burnt aftertaste you sometimes get from olive oil at high temps. Flavor & Versatility: This oil is genuinely neutral. It doesn’t compete with the aromatics of my spices or the natural flavor of the protein. Because it stays liquid in the fridge, I’ve also used it to make homemade herb-infused vinaigrettes, and it creates a much smoother emulsion than standard vegetable oils. Who ever thought I’d continue purchasing due to a nifty little funnel-shaped dispenser in the mouth of the bottle? Ingenious! No more annoying dribbles down the bottle that turns to a sticky goo between uses. Bottle shape? Just right for pouring. Flavor? Wonderful. Weight and density of container material? Perfect for arthritic hands. I highly recommend this purchase. It has simplified several challenges!

I have been buying this oil for cooking for a while now. I liked the price and the fact that it is rather light and mild flavored. It is not the most healthy oil, but it is not bad. THEN, I stumbled across a warning that as a hayfever sufferer safflower is likely to bother me. SHEESH!

Much less smoky and healthier than vegetable oil! This is now my new go to for stovetop and grilling oil

I am glad that Amazon carries this oil; no stores near me carry it. It has good health benefits. My main use is I cook my dog’s chicken in the crockpot for her food. It smells nice.It cooks the food well; I like that it doesn’t make her food oily & has good benefits for her.

Great for high heat cooking and for iron skillet seasoning. Neutral taste, so it does not affect food flavors.

I purchased this for skin care. I buy the cooking grade to ensure no extra additives are in it. Perfumes and additives just make my severe eczema worse. This has been working really well moisturizing my skin. As you can see I’ve been using it. I put it on right after my shower when my skin is damp. The vitamin E is a bonus.

The recipe that I use for my two Whippets diet calls for safflower oil. I was happy to find it here. Feed your dogs well and they won’t be needing a vet.
