Westlife

This is one of the best debut albums I have ever listened to. The album is very consistent, and defined Westlife’s lane from the very start. It starts off great, dips slightly in the middle and recovers well in the end. There are a lot of ballads on the album, with the odd mid-tempo song, which provides for a very easy listen. It is hard to pick a favourite track, but if I had to go by my most-played tracks, it will have to be a tie between “I Don’t Wanna Fight”, “Open Your Heart” and the closer “Can’t Lose What You Never Had”. The songwriting is commendable, as are to vocals and the production (including the key changes!). Mark and Shane especially sound nice, and it is quite good to hear the contrasts in their voices. Bought this to replace my original copy which I lost . Brings back happy memories. These lads voices are flawless now . highly recommend the CD that started it all .

If you like Pop and bands such as Backstreet Boys and 'Nsync you definitely need to listen to Westlife! I grew up out of the US and loved listening and dancing to their songs growing up. For some reason, they didn't become as popular in the US but they are definitely worth listening to!
