I have been carrying Sabre pepper sprays for at least a decade, and it’s always the brand I’ll repurchase when they expire and need replacing. I’m a young woman using public transit in a city, so the peace of mind this provides is priceless. I keep it attached to a retractable badge reel on the outside of my purse for easy access, and I highly recommend doing this (you can find some cute ones here or on shein). In the event of actually needing to use this, you don’t want to be fumbling around for it. The quality feels the exact same as it always has, and I much prefer this flip top design over the ones with the twist lock. I never had issues with the twist lock, but it just felt like with that design it’d be a little easier for an accidental discharge than with this one. Also, this isn’t as important but a plus side is that it’s cute! I used to always just get the black but decided to go for the Chambray Blue this time and it’s such a pretty color. I’d gotten the black previously so it would blend in with the outside of my purse, but this time I thought that if maybe people could see that I have pepper spray at easy access it would cut down on being approached by certain characters at bus stops and train stations. This is one of those things that you hope you’ll never need to use, but will be so grateful you have if you do. I recommend that every woman carry some form of self defense, and this is a really great option for those who aren’t comfortable with pocket knives or stun guns—and they’re also much easier to use quickly.

Bought this for safety, stayed for the personality. Honestly, it’s the perfect man deterrent. I used to live in a not-so-great neighborhood, and just having this on me made me feel a lot better when walking around. It’s small, easy to carry, and the flip-top design is great - quick to open but still feels secure. Also… the color is actually really cute, which I didn’t expect from pepper spray. I tested it on the ground (away from everyone, don’t worry), and it works exactly as it should. No complaints there. Overall: cute, effective, and gives peace of mind.

For those of us that work in the medical field and have to park in parking garages or work late shifts, these are perfect. Great item to give to someone who just got a job on night shift or in isolated areas. I commute via public transportation, so I get approached by all sorts of people asking for change, food, etc. Easy to use, easy to handle. I tested it and the wind does not affect the spray. The black color makes it blend with any environment. The two pack is great because I have one for my lanyard and one for my keychain. I will get another two pack so that i can keep one in my console and at my desk. Also great for university students because it is legal to carry on most campuses, unlike firearms.

I often ride the city bus and walk a lot during the day and at night, so I started carrying pepper spray after I've had a few sketchy incidents with crazy people entering into my workplace and also encountering crazy people at a bus stop near the college campus. Fortunately, I have never been hurt or anything, but those kinds of situations can be traumatizing, and you never know when a situation can get out of hand. Those are times that would be good to have pepper spray just in case. I really like the flip top design rather than some of those other sliding tab ones that Sabre sells. The sliding ones felt kind of loose and felt like it may accidentally discharge in my pocket, but with this one, I don't feel like I need to worry about it because you have to slide your finger under the spring hinged cap and press down to shoot the gel. The key ring is nice and I always keep it on my lanyard. Although one time, the bottom, which is attached to the key ring got detached from the rest of the body of the pepper spray, but it was easy to just push back in and I didn't even have to use any kind of glue. I gave it a few hard tugs and it stayed together, so I think it should be good. I gave it a few test shots (which I recommend everyone do once they get it to see if it is working properly and so that they get some practice) and I'd say it shot out about 9 to 10 ft in a non-windy conditions. Overall, the design is really nice, and it sprays a good distance, but your aim has to be pretty accurate since it shoots in a stream rather than a mist. It fits nicely in the pocket and I often forget that I have it in my pocket. If you are walking someplace that maybe unsafe or walking at night, I recommend you walk with it in your hand or with your hand in your pocket, with your thumb under the flip top and over the button, so you can be ready to use it if it comes down to it. It's a great thing to have even if you don't think you'll need it. Just make sure that if you get one, replace it after the expiration date. I am a male in my twenties and I never thought I would want or need one, but I realized that it's a good thing to have just in case. Hopefully, I'll never have to use it, outside of testing and practicing.

I always carry this spray and it works well. I have noticed after time the plastic case gets weaker and the end pops off if the Keychain or bottle gets snagged on something. Like the pepper spray and its casing falls from the Keychain attachment

I got this because I’m a single mom and I had been having a little issue with a man who wouldn’t stop coming around. I realized I didn’t really have anything to protect myself with, so I purchased this. I feel a lot better knowing that I have some protection now, just in case anything should happen. This product is a great size for keeping in your pocket and seems easy enough to work, should I need to. And it comes in my favorite color.

Bought on whim for when I go for a walk both for people and for the aggressive dogs I've had run at me. I've had it for months and haven't had to use it, just carry it around in my pocket when I go for walks. Had a large dog run at me growling and bearing its teeth. Shot in front of the dog. Dog backs up and runs off. I turn to walk off. Hears dog growling/barking and running at me again. Pepper sprayed the dog. Dog ran off and left me alone. 10/10 product. Would buy again because it saved me money on a rabies shot and stitches. Very nice size and apparently packs enough of a punch that an aggressive animal decided it did not want to eat me after getting hit.
