I ordered this item because I wanted to be able to connect a smartphone or MP3 player to my head unit in my car. After having connected the cable and followed the instructions from Pioneer in regards to enabling AUX on the head unit everything is working perfectly. I can only recommend this item if you have a supported head unit in your car and wants to add the possibility to play music/audio from an MP3 player or smartphone via 3.5 mm jack plug.

) 4 stars because i would have liked the lead to be slightly more robust
Does what it says on the tin. Connected to the back of my pioneer head unit and worked first time. Long enough to use in a small to medium sized car in my clio it passed behind the facia and out into the passenger footwell. I then connect the lead to my android phone which is on a car vent holder on the central vents above the stereo. If it was 6 inches shorter i would struggle to do this...might be an issue for someone with a bigger car (vectra mondeo size?) 4 stars because i would have liked the lead to be slightly more robust. Nothing wrong with it...lead could just be a little thicker. If you caught it on a cage/sharp edge or in a door i'm not sure it would survive. If you arent going to give it abuse it will be fine.....

Great saviour of my trusty old SQ headunit
Spot on. I now have a bluetooth dongle plugged into my 15 year old Pioneer DEH-P945R and did away with the old cd changer. Great saviour of my trusty old SQ headunit.

Well here I am absolutely surprised amazing cable it as saved me lots of money in buying a original pioneer converter for my usb to attach my phones. Very pleased

Works as Expected
Really easy to install, and allows me to play music from my MP3 player straight into the car stereo. Cable seems reasonable quality, has worked well for 3 months.

Fa il suo dovere. Ha "svecchiato" la mia vecchia autoradio Pioneer dandomi la possibilità di collegarla allo smartphone per ascoltare musica mentre viaggio sulla mia piccola utilitaria. Il prezzo poteva essere migliore dato che si tratta solamente di un cavetto, ma vista la mancanza di alternative va bene anche così.
