ASICS Women's Gt-2000 4 running Shoe

These are great shoes. Lots of support and cushioned. They fit great right off the bat and I felt energized in them. I hesitated ordering my regular size with all of the reviews saying they run small. I normally wear an 8.5 and finally ordered that. They fit perfect but a smidge smaller and they wouldn't have. My advice would be if your are pushing the limit on your normal size you might want to order the next size up. Sometimes I fit into a size 8. So I really felt a 9 would be too big. I bought the black and light green w/yellow. I love, love, love the color combination!

WOW!! This is my first pair of Asics and I LOVE them!! I stand a lot at work and my feet were starting to bother me on a daily basis after only standing for a few hours. I could barely stand it. I bought a pair of Skechers active shoes with the memory gel and they felt awesome at the store; came to work the next day and immediately after, my feet were aching again. I searched for hours, looking for a shoe that would hopefully relieve me of this pain. I saw this pair of Asics and read a few reviews about how people were able to work long hours and stand in them all day so I gave them a chance. The first day, my feet were still a little achy from my previous shoes but what a difference these past few days have been. Pain free and my feet feel great finally. I am considering purchasing another pair or two because of how comfortable they are.

I've been wearing size 12 B Asics Gel Kayano for just over 10 years (I'm a 11.5 B and ordered a half size up as is recommended). They are my favorite. That being said, I was constantly suffering a scab here a callus there. I wondered if I might benefit ordering a wide size. I went on a Amazon and could not find a Gel Kayano in the size 12 D (wide) I was looking for. So, I punched in Asics 12 D into the search and found this Asics GT-1000 4 in a color I like. I ordered them right up to investigate my suspicion. They fit perfectly. Albeit, they aren't as cushiony as the Kayano, the size is right. I stuck in a cheap insole and it made the shoe feel more cushiony and giving. But, I'm definitely benefiting from the wider size. I've been wearing them and haven't found any worsening of heeling scabs and calluses nor any sign of new ones. I'm glad I acted on my curiosity. Hopefully, I'll be able to score my preferred Asics model in my "new" size, but this will do for now.

I'm still breaking them in, but so far so good. My feet ache a bit after a few hours but that is more a function of my old shoes being worn out than these new ones. The support is great, they feel solid. My heels did slip a bit at first (I wear lined socks recommended by the REI for my hiking boots - WrightSock DLX, so no blisters or even hotspots) but the shoes have softened slightly and now contour my heels perfectly. I've worn ASICS for years and they fit my feet and give me the support I need. I have swapped out the bright turquoise laces for black ones, but that's just me. I don't need neon feet!

Beautiful shoe. Fits very tight, feels great in heal but super tight in toe. My big toe actually sticks up into the top of the shoe and afraid it will cause in-grown toe nail issues. I'd recomend a wider width. I wear between a B and C width. My last pair were medium width and fit fine. These are a beautiful shoe and feel cushy on the bottoms of the feet. Would recommend them despite the sizing issue.

This is the 4th or 5th generation of this ASICS shoe for me. I always loved the fit of this shoe and after 350 - 400 miles of running in one pair, I would buy another pair of the latest generation of this same model. Each time I would buy the same size I always did (women's size 11). HOWEVER, this time I should have read the reviews. I got the shoe in size 11 and it was WAY too short. My toes were snug against the tip of the shoe. I had to return them for the next size up (the return was a breeze by the way). I have never, ever had to buy an 11 1/2 in ANY shoe so it was a bit demoralizing. (My feet are big enough as-is, thank you very much!) So the 11 1/2s are a little too long and they are also too wide. My feet slosh around in them even after tightening the laces. The only thing that kept me from giving these sneakers a 2 star rating is the color. I absolutely love the color.

Arrived within time promised and in good condition. However, as for the shoe itself -- it actually fits even BETTER than expected. Thought they'd be too small/tight at first, but I had to redo the laces and then found that these shoes fit my feet like a glove. They hug my feet and give them the best support I've ever had with sneakers - and that's comparing to some of the pricier shoes out there. I feel the difference not only in my feet and ankles, but also in my knees, leg muscles, and back. Have more stamina than I previously had. Love, these shoes and will order another pair. Just hope they are consistently made and that the next ones are just like these. Thanks.

As someone who is always on the go and loves being active, I needed a shoe that could form to my feet as well as being comfortable to wear all day. I have bought shoes before that the arches were not as supportive as they were in the beginning and I would get shin splints within two weeks of the purchase. HOWEVER, when I came across the ASICS GT-1000 4 running shoe, it was a match made in heaven. I wear these shoes almost every day and I wear them all day. I never want to take them off. I automatically found a difference between my previous sneakers and these. The heavy duty structure of the shoes makes running on hard surfaces such as a treadmill and on concrete so easy and comfortable. The cushioning and the rubber sole absorb the shock when your feet make contact with the surface. I have had NO SHIN SPLINTS since I purchased these sneakers a few months ago and they are still in great condition. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing these sneakers if you are very active or just want a comfortable shoe to wear on the go. Definitely worth the buy!

My 4th pair of this shoe. Nothing better for walking and comfort - plus STYLE !!!! Love them. Go 1/2 size up from your shoe size.
