Bodum Bean Ice Coffee Maker, Black, plastic, white, 12.5x20x22.7 cm

I wanted a large capacity brewer for loose leaf tea and occasionally coffee, this was ideal and half the price of other larger vessel's plus it's made by bodum, I took a few weeks to arrive and I've just brewed over a litre of tea and it worked great, the lid is great as I pop that on for the brewing time helping to keep the heat in, then add the plunger and go, I really like the the tab that opens the spout which itself is much better at pouring than other brewers I've had, buy it and see, much easier than a teapot, once brewed I pour it into a thermos and I've got good tea all day long.

It is HUGE and I made my first batch of cold pressed. It was wonderful to have that and very convenient that I can just refill it and put it back after I finish. There was one reviewer that complained that you cant clean it 100%. I looked and it seems to me that you can wedge the clear plastic piece from the main body to clean. It would not be easy at all, but it is the same for the other Bodums. I usually do it by pressing it from the bottom.

I wanted a cold-brew coffee maker and I generally really like Bodum's products from a function and style perspective. This jug is huge - it's really very big, It means I can get at least 3-4 large latte's out of it before having to do another batch. Anyway - I was a little disappointed to see the jug is made out of plastic, rather than glass - as I'd expect with a normal French press carafe, but It does seem sturdy enough and the nice classic rubberised feeling of the handle is very Bodum. I found that with a reasonable amount of grounds in the jug it can be extremely hard to press down ready to pour, but since found out this was due to the thread being loose on the plunger and it not pushing down evenly. This was with a brew of ratios like 1:8 or 1:10 (I like Illy coffee and it'd be so expensive with 1:8!) so there is a considerable amount of coffee grounds in the jug, I found stirring them constantly is best first before plunging it so they are spread out in the liquid. Some have complained about it being hard to clean, but I've not had any issues - quick rinse under the tap has been fine. It's a little messy changing the lids and I have found a very small amount of coffee grounds does escape into the liquid once it's been pressed - but nothing that would be noticeable or detract from the drink at the end. Overall it's an OK product with a good style brand associated to it. A glass carafe and a large filter style trap would be better rather than having all the coffee grounds floating around and a very hard to press plunger when you want to serve it.. I'd perhaps have bought something else had I known.

I previously had an OXO cold brew maker. When the seal went and I could not replace with the same model, I bought this one. Sadly it broke after a few uses with the glass cracking. I will be replacing with something different as when it was used we got a lot of ground in the coffee when pouring out- I didn’t like it but didn’t bit to buy yet another one.

毎年、暑い季節になるとフル回転で使用しています。 水出しにこだわって、まろやかな感じの味になるので美味しく飲んでいます。 作り方も簡単です。珈琲粉を自分の好みの量（味を決めるまで試行錯誤しましたけど）を入れ、本器に水（水道水ですが、カルキ臭を飛ばすのに湯覚ましにしています）を灌ぐだけ。 あとは常に冷蔵庫で冷やしています。 ただ、水出しですので時間がかかります。ですから飲み切ったあと、作り始めて飲めるようになるまでの間が辛いです（笑）なか一日麦茶で我慢なんてことはよくあります。 もう一個あってタイムロスを失くしたら解消する問題ですが、容器が大きくて場所の確保が難しいです（笑）

I absolutely love this COLD BREW maker (read; not for hot water useage). I use this multiple times a week to make delicious cold brew coffee; saving a tonne of money by not having to go to cafes AND being able to have it all year round. The first time I used it I thought I had broken the press lid when I removed to put in the coffee but it just comes apart so you can clean it. It has a thumb handle stopper to control pour flow and lid locks in place. Great item, highly recommended. It has a all plastic easy to dis/re-assemble body and should not be used with boiling hot water; this the cold brew maker title.

Einwandfreier Zustand, schnelle Lieferung und super Preis

Estaba buscando prensas francesas de aluminio o algún material más resistente ya que como comentaron la mayoría que son de vidrio son muy delgadas y cualquier contacto con la llave al lavarlas o algo así se rompe. Esta prensa al ser de plástico soluciona ese problema. Pero no por ser de plástico denota menos calidad que las de vidrio, al contrario, te permite preparar un excelente café con mayor confianza. Lo único que le pondría a punto de mejora es la forma en que se abre, tienes que empujar y girar y a veces se atora, pero nada grave. No la he revisado a fondo pero trae un aditamento para utilizarla como thermo, es decir otra tapa aparte de la que hace el filtrado que es para transportarla sin que se derrame el café, muy bien!. Excelente compra, muy recomendable. Saludos Edición noviembre 2018: Después de haberla usado por un tiempo y haber comprado un par más me di cuenta que en realidad es una prensa enfocada al café frío. Se puede usar para preparar café calienta, así como la uso yo pero debido a su sistema que es enfocado al frío el resultado no es el óptimo. Tengo otra prensa francesa y sí se nota la diferencia. La sigo recomendando para los que quieran café frío o como alternativa para café caliente con la advertencia de que no es la ideal para eso. Digamos que entre una prensa para café caliente obtienes uno de calificación 100 con ésta usándola para lo mismo te sale uno de 75. No la he probado a hacer "ice coffee". Espero mi error sirva a los demás porque creo que en la descripción no dice eso y te das cuenta hasta que la tienes contigo.

Cassé ... j'étais ravie à l'achat mais cela fait à peine 2 mois d'utilisation avec toutes les précautions nécessaires et le verre s'est largement fendu au fond. Donc la cafetière fuit...
