I love it!! very easy to setup, not sure why some people were having trouble? couldn't be any easier. Connect to WiFi, go to the website and done! It has a sleep feature that put the device to sleep at night and wakes up during the day! It looks nice! red and green lights. I have mine connect to the power , so don't really use it on battery. I give it 5 starts!!!!!!! i which it was a little bit cheaper though, i would love to buy 4-5 of these. My concern is durability , but i will follow up on this review, if you don't hear back from me, it means it's working fine, if it breaks or stops working , i will leave a different review or update it!!! so far i Love it!!! i recommend it!! Update: I love it even more. Haven’t had a problem, I hope they keep adding features. There’s nothing like this in the market. Well done! Note: I’m not getting paid or anything for this review! The setup was not too bad. It did not take me long to connect to WiFi. You have to sign up for an account at tickrmeter.io. Once you are logged in, add your device and your stocks. You can add up to 10 stocks at the max and create playlists in which you can have 10 stocks per playlist. Here was the deal breaker for me. The minimum cycle interval time to display the next stock was 2 minutes. Really? I have to wait 20 minutes to see my last stock? Why buy a device to monitor your stocks if you have to wait that long to see it? Then I just use my phone or my laptop which would beat the hell out of the 20 minutes waiting time. Also the updated market price at the minimum is 1 minute which was not too bad but it wouldn’t do me any good to see my last stock 20 minutes later. The battery lasts a little more than 2 days which mean you will need to recharge it often. Not a convenient factor. I am returning this. I will reconsider it when there is an option for me to set the interval time to seconds. Ideally 5 or 10 seconds. I believe the whole purpose of setting the interval time to 2 minutes or higher was to get you to buy more devices. I am not going to purchase 10 of these for a thousand bucks to see 10 of my stocks. I ended up bought a Divoom display which can let you see 5 stocks at a time then in a few seconds the next 5. For now no thanks! Update: I found exactly what I was looking for. This device is everything I had hoped for and more. The constant updates tell me how much this company really cares about this product. I set it up with Stocks, Weather, Crypto, Forex, and a whole lot more. So easy to use a web base for updating and configuring. It is slick and working like a charm. Check it out at fintic.io. This can be so good. I really like the idea and general design but the battery is puny and the online interface to set it up is bare bones. Every edit is a delete and recreate. Resetting the Wi-Fi is a strange procedure, but it does work. Still…. I do enjoy having this on my desk!

Wow… what a complete wase of money for following reasons: 1. It won’t charge. I tried using all the chargers i have, and still doesn’t. Now it won’t even turn on. 2. The color LED indicator on the side is just useless. The logical expectation of it is that the green light comes on when the price is up vs. the previous day, and red if it’s down. But you have to set a price above or below which either only green or red will come on. This just makes absolutely no sens at all. I strongly demand a refund for above reasons.

First, just like any other cheap iot devices, it seems to support only 2.4GHz wifi band. You will have a problem with setting up wifi if you live in wifi-horded neighborhood. That eliminates my use of the devices at home. Second, if you're allowed to use only the guest/visitor wifi network at work and if the wifi network enforces you to click a button once a while, you cannot use it. That eliminates my use of the device at work. I'll try mounting it in my car and see if it's usable there. Instead of the cheap iot AP-based wifi setup, they should've added a couple of buttons to the back and make the initial setup easier. After all, unlike cheap iot devices, tickrmeter has a screen.

A few years ago I was looking for one of these and gave up after searching for awhile. I recently looked on Amazon just for fun and immediately ran across this and one other device. I decided to try this one. Glad I did. I love it! Just ordered another one. It has a pretty good refresh rate at 1 minute. I do wish there was a option to make it refresh every 15 secs / 30 secs but maybe there are some limitations that I am unaware of. Another thing I wish that could be updated is when you make a playlist of multiple stocks or crypto, the lowest setting to cycle between them is 2 minutes. I wish there was a setting for 1 minute between cycles. Those 2 updates would be awesome! Besides that, it does what I want and I love it! Highly recommended!

Lovely item, well made and looks smart. Gives all the information in a needed to keep you up-to-date and is a talking point too. Screen is a good size, clear and e-ink makes it nice on the eye. It is a little expensive for what it is, but does the job very well and couldn't find any other tickers that were any better. Would recommend

I found it difficult to set up, but once it was set up and connected to my phone it worked flawlessly. The e-ink screen is excellent, and colored led is effective.
