Oh my goodness, these moisture absorbing bags really work well! I have a closet in my house that is side-by-side with a bathroom and noticed my clothes were getting musty smelling (even when recently washed). I put this bag in the closet for less than a month and it is already full of water. I am shocked to see how much moisture was in the closet. I would highly recommend these for anyone struggling with excess moisture in a room or closet. I will definitely be a returning customer and repurchasing these. I feel like this bag size is ideal for a small to medium closet. The set up is extremely easy and it’s a great value for a great item! Just buy it, you won’t regret it! Oh, I also love the smell of the lavender vanilla bags - the smell is light and not at all overwhelming (and I am very sensitive to smells).

We recently moved into an older historic home on a military base in Texas, and these houses are known to have issues with mold. I wanted to be proactive and do whatever I could to help prevent problems, so I gave these a try. I’ve already purchased a couple of boxes and just ordered more—they seem to work really well. You can actually see the water collecting in the clear bag, which is pretty amazing and shows how much moisture they’re pulling from the air. I’ll definitely keep buying these to help keep the moisture levels down in our closets. Great product!

I placed this hanging moisture absorber in my closet and started noticing results fairly quickly. After about 3 days, I could already see water collecting in the bag. By two weeks, it had absorbed a noticeable amount of moisture, and around 15 days the bag was mostly full. The collected water turned slightly yellow, which shows it is actively pulling moisture from the air. One of the biggest improvements I noticed is that my clothes feel much drier, and the unpleasant musty odor in the closet is completely gone. The vanilla lavender scent is very soft and subtle, not overpowering at all. It smells pleasant and natural, and it doesn’t clash with clothing or perfumes. The design is simple and practical. It’s easy to hang, stays sealed properly, and does not drip at any point. The material feels decent for its purpose. My only downside is the size — I believe I purchased a smaller option, and for a closet with higher humidity, a larger bag would last longer and be more effective over time. Overall, this moisture absorber does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would recommend it for closets, small rooms, or enclosed spaces, especially if you want moisture control without a strong fragrance. I would repurchase it, but next time I’d choose a larger size.

I've been using these Damp Rid hanging moisture absorbers in whatever scent is the least expensive, for several years. So clearly I like the product. However, in the past 9-12 months, the plastic hangers have been breaking off about half the time. A couple of times I even had to use thread to keep the plastic attached to the bag. It's likely that the manufacturer is cheapening the production process or materials, so I started experimenting with different forms of Damp Rids and other manufacturers. Every product has a pro and con, so I am not giving up on this specific product yet, but I wish they would upgrade the production to its previous higher quality state. I am rating this 4 star although 3.5 would be more accurate at the moment.

If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would. For delivered FOUR days ago and I set the bags up immediately and after just 4 days I’m seeng/feeling results. I live in a house in the remodeled “basement” and my level of the house is surrounded by the garden and the whole yard which is surrounded by lots of plants. There is 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and the laundry room which is all in a very small area, smaller than a studio sized apartment. My living quarts always smelled “funny” and the air always feel thick, ESPECIALLY the bathroom.. even during the winter it felt like I need to open a window to just get some fresh air. We also had a constant problem with pincher bugs and after googling I learned it’s because they like moisture (and having a garden basically surrounding my whole area they had an abundance of moisture). Decided to get these moisture absorbers for each room and after only FOUR days I decided to check the bags and noticed a large amount of water had been absorbed and. The air feels clean and SMELLS clean too, especially in the bathroom. 10/10 (technically 5/5) highly recommend if you live in a small space but with multiple rooms. For reference I did put one bag in each room since they are all surrounded by plants and we live in an underground/basement level apartment *I tried to add a whole video of my son and I checking the water level but I guess it was too long so here’s a photo of the water after only FOUR days-this was in his room, not even the bathroom, which had more water.
